Kurt did an excellent job in repairing several rotted windows vs going through the tremendous expense of replacing them. Kurt is professional, friendly, always on time and communicates effectively. His pricing is very fair. I plan on hiring him for another project. Highly recommend. You won’t be sorry. Great guy!

I was very pleased with the carpentry work Kurt did in the wood siding of my house. He replaced a whole section of cedar siding and replace various rotting siding. He installed a frieze board and fixed some rotten siding on a dormer along with other various siding and window trims work The quality of work was excellent and very professional Good quality craftmanship and high work ethics coupled with good communication and very friendly. He provides good advise on what to do and always putting the customer first. He is one of the best carpentry contractor and I definitely recommend him and will call him again for all my future carpentry siding work.

Kurt did an excellent job repairing our windows and support beams. He is highly detail-oriented and able to match woodworking styles and colors. Kurt was able to repair extensive rot damage and made the windows look better than they did before. He is very tidy and always communicated very well. He is very friendly and pleasant, and upfront with what’s going on. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Kurt did an excellent job, saving our windows from needing full replacement. Less experienced carpenters turned down the job as the rot was extensive. Kurt left them looking better than when we purchased the house. He communicated well about the work and always let me know when he'd be arriving. He was also just a really nice person to have around for a long and tedious job -- friendly and pleasant, working hard through a heat wave. I recommend him without hesitation.

Kurt did a great job and was very efficient. He was able to repair all rot, and at a fraction of the cost of several other estimates. He repaired several window frames and replaced some of the baseboards. I was worried about having to replace siding, but only one small piece had to be replaced. Kurt is a great contractor and is very reliable and honest. We are planning to hire him to do more work on the back of our house.

Buckland came out to survey the job, sat with me to explain what would be done, and how - and what materials they would use. Then they came on time the day the said they would; their workmanship was top-notch, and professionally completed on a timely basis all for a very reasonable price. I would absolutely use Buckland again for any household/home repair work.

Kurt was involved with each step of the job: quoting, setup, performance and cleanup. His team of workers were skilled and professional. Commitments from Kurt were met and daily updates provided. The results are terrific and am planning to use Buckland on future projects.

Kurt was great. He communicated on a daily basis and kept and clean workspace. I appreciated his flexibility and honesty as well. I initially though we needed to replace a sliding glass door, but Kurt was honest and advised that he could repair instead of replace saving me a great deal of money. Also, In the middle of completing a list of necessary repairs I received a letter from the insurance company advising of an additional item in need of attention. Kurt was able to quickly provide an estimate for the additional task and find time in his schedule. I would be sure to contract with Kurt for any future projects.

We were extremely pleased with the work Kurt did on our house. He replaced the rotting wooden trim around four of our windows, replaced sections of our siding which were in rough shape, fixed a soffit and fascia that were water-damaged due to a poorly set up gutter, and a few other smaller repairs. The quality of his work was excellent, and so was his work ethic and communication. He was also very good about pointing out things that he found during the course of the work which were either done improperly before, or were a good idea to fix along with what else was being done. He always contacted us with a description (usually with a photo) and an estimate of the cost of any additional work. He was very courteous, punctual and not at all pushy. We would definitely recommend him, and will gladly call him again for our future projects.

They did an amazing job! Very prompt to come and do an estimate and scheduled the work quickly. The existing ceiling was crooked and poorly installed and the room has a lot of pipes and is not a standard size room. They took down the old ceiling and were able to cut panels to fit the room and work around the pipes neatly. The room is nearly 4 inches higher now and everything is straight. They were professional, clean, pleasant and the price was very reasonable. We have already hired them again to replace our staircase and build a closet. I would definitely continue to use Kurt for any home improvement projects!

It took a while because we first needed to install a granite surround. Mantle was professionally done and looks beautiful in our home.

Kurt was very professional and efficient. He was very responsive when we called to set up an appointment and communicated his estimate quickly. The actual price charged was equal to the estimate quoted.. The quality of the work was excellent. The job was completed in one day. I definitely would hire Kurt back for other carpentry work.

Kurt was able to come out and see what we needed before he began the job. He communicated what needed to be done. When Kurt was able to begin the job, he came out with the materials and began the work first thing in the morning. He found additional rot and called me to get my OK to continue. I really like the way he kept me updated; was neat and honest. I will get him to come out and fix my steps and give estimate regarding construction of a wall in my basement.

I bought a special coupon through Angieslist for some window frame repair and contacted the seller. No respond for couple of weeks so I cancelled the coupon then he contacted me via my email. I understand the seller must be busy but a minute courtesy call can resolve this issue easily. He may be good at what he does but I am a good customer too.

Kurt is a good, hard worker and he did a professional job. However, since he was involved in a large project out of state, we had to wait about a month before he got to our project. He did stay in touch with us during that time, but perhaps he may have overbooked himself. Luckily, due to the time of the year, the project was not an emergency, so we could wait for him to do the work.

Kurt came right away to assess the job and estimated that the bid would cover time with materials extra. The final bill was for $125 for materials. He did a beautiful job over part of an afternoon and the next morning. I waited longer than expected for the job to begin because of weather and some unexpected extra work for clients who scheduled before me. But Kurt kept me informed about the schedule and came when he scheduled the work. I was very pleased with the quality of the work, his professionalism and reliability. Contractor is too far away or too busy to do work. I have had several deals from Angies List, and this is the first one that did not work out.

Kurt provided first-rate, professional and efficient service and excellent workmanship. I will certainly use his services for projects in the future and have no hesitation about recommending him to others.

Kurt was very professional and did a quality job. He discussed which type of wood and/or engineered wood would be better for certain areas, didn't try to upsell us on railings, etc.. The job was done quickly and everything looks great. Overall we are very pleased and would recommend him and use again.
