Description of Work: The job was to fix a slow leak in the kitchen drain pipe, just below floor level in our basement, a few inches from the basement wall.

Description of Work: I had Bath Fitter install a new tub and shower enclosure. Ceil completed the necessary plumbing work.

Description of Work: This is a review of me having pursued Mr. Ceil's services twice now. Once when I called about the tub stopper chain which slipped from my fingers down into the bottom of the pipe, which was no further down than the tub floor. I called Ceil and they said they HAD to go through the hallway wall to dig into and cut the pipe to get out the chain, that attaches to the stopper. They said no less than $350. just to start. Shocked I went to work and asked all the homeowners if they ever lost their chain. One drew a picture for me, and viola! I fished it out with a magnet that night!! Recently I called Ceil to put Reverse Osmosis in for my home. (Wonder why I tried them again?!) I got an estimate for three faucets for $2,000. I've done alot of research since on the product. I called and asked Ceil to give me the name of the vendor from which he's buying his units; the warranty, all the specs on the membrane (I found our new house to have Lead in the drinking water). His secretary admitted that she knows nothing about the units, nor can she share with me information. She said that he buys "...parts and puts the units together and really doesn't buy the full unit outright..." Having done the research, because of the seriousness of exposing my family to Lead and Nitrates, I found out that R.O. units are only as good as the membrane which takes out the Lead. And Ceil has "no idea" of what to tell me about their units. This does not make sense, considering the consumer has to purchase membranes every year for each unit. Does he make consumers go back to him to buy the membranes? Ouch! I asked his office person to fax me the specs on the units and have received nothing in my fax. All units have specs. I called twice. Very little is known about the units themselves, because only Mr. Ceil knows where he's buying them from. Also, the Secretary told me that Mr. Ceil is booked out til February installing the R.O.'s so if I wanted to get on his schedule, I better decide quickly. My my goodness. For someone with money to throw away, doesn't involve themselves in researching how things work and what they are paying for, he's probably an average choice. For others, who depend on their own knowledge, want the best, and want to know exactly what he is installing/selling/doing, he is not the best choice.
