I called company because I need some repairs done on two of my porch roofs. I received a call back after a couple of days. He set up meeting time three days from then .It would be some time in the morning, he would call me when he was on his way. He is based in my town and is in fact doing two other jobs in my neighborhood so I was quite confident that he would be there. Much to my surprise he never showed up, and never called. I gave him a few days then called again, asking him to call back and even offering the option that perhaps I confused the day he was supposed to come (which I did NOT). Again, NO CALL. Two things contractors should know before they do this, since driveby blow off seem to be the norm nowadays - One - If a contractor does not want the job, not big deal, but be a professional and call to cancel the appointment, especially when it's in your LOCAL TOWN. TWO - Yes, I Immediately needed two porch roof leaks repaired. But they are attached to a 100 year old six roof home that I will be replacing all but one roof within the next six months to a year. So think about the job you just lost. Rarely do clients hire for just a little repair. We are trying to find honest contractors. So thank you Saybrook roofing, for showing me just the kind to contractor you are.

Nick and his crew are great. They had a lot of difficulty starting because of the rainy spring, but once started, they moved quickly and steadily and got the work done. They cleaned up well--only found one nail on the driveway, which is pretty good for a complete roofing job. I would definitely use them again!

It went well. He did the very minimal to see if that would work and then if it did not then he would come back to fix it. He did not charge him for anything.

There was quite a bit of lichen-type growth on parts of my roof, and I thought that part or all of the roof needed replacement as it was 20 years old. I called Saybrook Roofing (which had done the roof 20 years ago and was very professional) for an estimate. They were prompt and advised that the roof did not need to be replaced and offered some suggestions for dealing with the lichens (if we wished). Excellent experience, and we were impressed by the professionalism and honesty. We will definitely call them when we next think a roof repair may be needed.

A timely call back, an appropriate time to come over and see the work, showed up on time, told us he would have a price in a few days (Monday) so far no estimate.

Initial phone call was returned promptly, appointment made and kept, estimate given within 3 days--it was a holiday weekend; date set, work done in two days. These men have worked together long enough to do everything as a team--well and professionally.
