An honest and straightforward businessman that we would not hesitate to call and hire again. Brian stuck to his estimate and the schedule he committed to. + -1 moreThe television mount was attached securely and squarely. Brian removed all of the trim on one side of the pocket door in one piece. This allowed him to access the door and reattach the trim in one piece so that no repainting was required.
Description of Work: Brian installed a TV mount above the fireplace and realigned the pocket door going into the master bathroom.

He did not keep us waiting for the estimate of the job and told us exactly the time he would be there. His work was first-class and he did not waste time but finished his work promptly and cleaned up after. I would not hesitate to call him again and was so happy to find someone who did not shy away from smaller jobs.

He told me what needed to be done and made recommendations for additional work that would help prevent the issue from occurring again in the future. The price may appear high but he was the lowest price quoted by far and the work had to be done in very cramped conditions.

Description of Work: Needed cracked stair tread repaired, only way to do it was to go thru finished ceiling that was below staircase. Brian was very responsive and punctual. + 0 moreI found Brian on Angie's list and had him do some minor repairs to the house after the hurricane. I called him again when I needed to have my down stair and upstair halls renovated. Brian removed grass cloth wallpaper from a two story hall and painted the walls. It was a difficult job since the paper had been installed for over 30 years and was applied to bare sheet rock. He came when he said he would come and it took longer to complete, but he only charged me the original estimate. He also replaced some light fixtures that were damaged in a storm. The work was excellent and he was very neat and clean. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
Description of Work: Brian was hired on Monday January 16th,and began the work the next day. We agreed on a cost and the job was completed as proposed. The house is 60 years old and the job costs $1,000.00.

+ -1 moreBrian shows up on time and works at a decent pace. He doesn' waste time and cleans up after himself. He is very creative and always runs any potential problems or changes by you. He is an overall good guy and a pleasure to work with.
Description of Work: The price above is the total for severl jobs done by Brian's Fix It. Brian first tiled my fireplace for me. We decided to go right over mismatched brick face and hearth with a nice Italian tile. He worked at a good pace and did not waste my time or money. We gutted the kitchen and he did all the sheet rock, tile installation and cabinet installation. I did have someone else to the Corian. Brian again was very professional . The work is well done and he created a dynamic cieling structure over a bump out that houses the sink and dishwashwer. I get tons of complements on it. We had Brian back to extend our upstairs dormer and once again he did a great job. Now I have two great bedrooms that are a decent size.
