Nick's Masonry

Awesome. Nick was extremely responsive. His guys were extremely professional and diligent even in very hot challenging conditions.

I called Nick's for an estimate on recapping my chimney. I mentioned that I was going to replace the roof and the chimney flashing also. Nick said that he does roofs also and gave me an estimate. His estimate seemed fair and it was more convenient to have one contractor do all the work. Nick dropped off his crew and I quickly realized that not one of them spoke any english, so it was impossible to communicate with the on site crew. When the work was complete, they did do a very nice job on the chimney but left chunks of concrete, nails and small pieces of roofing tile all over the yard. When I complained they returned for approximately 10 minutes and hardly picked anything up. A year after having the roof done, I noticed one corner of my roof seemed to be sagging. upon observation from the attic i realized the sheathing was rotted and they roofed right over it. I was also not very happy with the leaking gutters. I called Nick back and complained. He claimed that the sheathing was not rotted and the gutters did not leak when the job was complete. Then he had the nerve to give me a verbal estimate on repaving my patio. I could see I was getting nowhere and asked him to leave and hired another contractor to fix his mistakes.
