Leffingwell Pools

This project was a comdey of problems. We ordered the hot tub in Dec. The owner waited until the 2ft of snow we received in Feb melted before coming to do the job. Jan was snow free and the ground was frozen. When he came with his bobcat, the ground was so soft from 2 ft of snow that he destroyed the front yard and his bob cat became stuck-it then sat in our yard for 2 months. All through this ordeal, he did not bother to return phone calls. Rarely his office manager would call for him. Promises to come do the work never were fulfilled. Finally, he poured the slab the day before he had some surgery. We then waited another month for the tub to be installed. After installation we realized two disappointing things: the lounge seat was oriented face the boring side of the house not our beautiful wooded lot and the slab was too small for the steps to be placed on it. Since the piping was imbedded in the concrete the tub could not be re-oriented. We paid him for the work he had done (poorly) so far. Of course at this point it was no longer cold enough to enjoy the hot tub. But the project was not done-he was supposed to come back and pour a sidewalk to the tub. Again, he never showed up when promised and calls went unanswered or vague "maybe at the end of the week" were given. Finally, I told him to not come back and I hired Harbour Painting & Contracting to come and within a week I had a beautiful sidewalk and deck surrounding the hot tub.

Not good, gave contractor $8,000.00 to start repairs. May 16th still waiting after several phone calls.
