 + -1 moreHIRE E B Asphalt!!! You will be amazed! The workers did a great job at preparing the driveway (trimming the borders, clearing grass in cracks) and sealing the driveway. They also filled the large cracks with rubber sealant which will prevent the cracks from growing in the winter. This is the best sealant job we ever had in 20 years of living in CT. Communications were great, scheduling was easy and we are proud to keep their sign up in our driveway!

 + 2 moreThese men were the best workers I have ever seen. They were prompt, polite and never stopped until the job was complete. They landscaped and cleaned up when they were done. Rick, the owner, was very easy to deal with and kept in contact with us about when he was coming, etc. He always returned our calls. I would recommend them highly.
Description of Work: Old driveway removed and new blacktop installed. Enlarged our driveway to 3 times what it was.

He explained the paving process to us in detail and when comparing EB Paving with other paving companies, it was clear that EB Paving had a superior product/paving process. Rick was true to his word and the pride he takes in his company and the product they provide was clearly evident. We are extremely pleased with the craftsmanship that went into our driveway and the end result was beautiful!
Description of Work: Work done on a very long driveway (which included a large cut out space): Existing asphalt was removed, new base and asphalt layers installed, regraded adjoining yard area and installed/raked new topsoil.

 + 2 moreRick and his team did an excellent job with our driveway. We are very happy with the outcome of the project. From the start, Rick and his team were the most professional to work with. The scope of the project changed from the initial estimate and each time Rick provided an updated contract within 24 hours. His team left my property clean, and aside from our new driveway, you would never have known they were there. I recommend EB Asphalt to anyone looking into a driveway project.
Description of Work: EB Asphalt completed a large scale residential driveway renovation. The initial driveway was washed out mud and gravel with major water drainage issues. Rick and his team graded the driveway to divert water from our 300 ft drive away from the house/front of the garage. They removed a few large boulders and a fair amount of ledge from the center of the driveway. They installed tied the downspouts on each side of my garage together and ran them underground in a drain away from the house. They also installed a few perforated/French drains directly in front of the garage to drain water as well. His team then installed a 4,300 square foot millings driveway. To wrap things up, they finished the edges of the driveway with fresh loam and neatly packed the edges for a clean driveway line. The project took two days to complete. Each day they made sure we could come and go from the driveway as needed.

Description of Work: driveway& access/ right of way repaired. The driveway work was a complete removal ,then replaced with a base of process gravel with an excellent paving job over it. The other work was only supposed to be a repair but exceeded my expectations.

 + -1 moreMike was on time for estimate. Said job would take 2-3 days but it strechted out over 2 weeks. Everyone on the job was polite. Believe concrete walk was subcontracted. Came back and added additional topsoil we requested, we thought we needed more. Ricky made sure we were happy before accepting final payment.
Description of Work: Demolition of existing driveway and front walk. Removal of all bushes in front of house and a tree near driveway. Layered new driveway ( 20 ft X 48 ft) poured new concrete walk and built up planting beds on either side of stairs with landscaping ties and filled beds with top soil.

Description of Work: Driveway addition went ok. Pleased with that portion. Sealant for the rest of the driveway has been peeling ever since the first season. E and B "fixed" it and had me pay for the additional material. Still flaking off to this day. Looks terrible.

 + -1 moreHe did an excellent job. The crew did a tremendous clean up. They edged the driveway well. They got a leaf blower out and cleaned. The price was fair. They came when they said they were going to come. They gave a two year warranty.
Description of Work: They paved our driveway. They dug up the driveway, put 3-6 inches of gravel and 3 inches of tar.
