I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Got a quote from Asphalt Paving by GW that said they will fill all cracks and sealcoat driveway. Spoke to Ramsey a few times, he was very friendly and we talked through the project over the phone. On our call we discussed that the driveway had a lot of cracks and he mentioned he might not be able to fill every single individual crack but told me he was going to do his best which I said was fine. Day of the job I was working from home and stuck in a meeting, I couldn't get out to see the work until it was 75% done. That's when I found out they're not using hot asphalt sealant (the stuff every other professional uses) he's using buckets of Latexite. I take some responsibility for this because I should have confirmed 100% what product they would use but had assumed by contacting a "professional" asphalt paving company that they would be hot sealing the driveway. I spoke to Ramsey, he mentions that he did not crack fill the driveway at all either and just put the Latexite down extra thick (not what the manufacturer recommends). When I mentioned that the quote and our conversation was for crack repair he pulled out a single gallon jug of crack filler and said he used 1/4 of the bottle for my 2,000sq ft driveway. I asked what the adjusted price was considering he didn't do the work that was quoted and he told me the price was the same. "The driveway is black and I worked hard" apparently is enough justification for this obvious bait and switch. He said the stuff he used was the best you can buy which is a complete lie because it was the bucket with a green lid which has 4 year warranty and Latexite sells other sealers that have 8 and 10 year warranties. To top it off he asked to be paid with a check written out to him specifically rather than his business (I'm assuming to avoid paying taxes on his business revenue). On his way out he must have spilled one of the buckets of sealer because there is now a puddle of sealer in the street at the bottom of our driveway that he tried to cover up by throwing some dirt onto it, didn't feel the need to try to hose it off or even notify me that he screwed up. I guess I'll be pressure washing our street this weekend so my neighbors don't think I'm a slob. I trusted the Google reviews and should have done more research, please learn from my mistake and call a different company or just do the project yourself considering GW is just going to use the cheap stuff they sell at Home Depot anyway.

Job was done on 8/6/20. At first I was in love with the job. Driveway looked great, even posted amazing reviews online. 8/16/20 first time using driveway or parking on it. Two days later noticed under wear tired laid, crumbles of asphalt. Reached out to Ramsey. Without looking stated these were tire marks. I expressed concern about this being more. He stated for us to continue using and that they would be out the following week t look at it. Following Monday they were here, but Ramsey was not interested in hearing our concerns. Instead they had a worker re-roll the driveway with the big roller. This cause more stretch marks, and squished down the raised edges, making the edges no longer straight and neat. We were told that their dad George would come out the next day to look at it. Next day no show, no call. Called Ramsey, he became very disrespectful screaming at me through the phone. I reminded him three times to stop as I was not raising my voice to him. He hung up on me, but later texted an apology. The older brother (Justin) and Ramsey then came out again later in the week. This time I recorded the conversation and have the older brother on record stating that this shouldn't be happening and he needs to think about how he is going to fix it. When prompted with them having the experience to complete a job on a slopped driveway, he stated that they could have used more asphalt or a different grade, but it would have cost more. I replied with "those options were not presented to me." Ramsey once again got loud, he insulted me and screamed, to the point that I stated I was going to call the police to resolve this. He didn't care. He left. Justin the older brother asked me to give it a couple of days to let things settle and that he would speak with George Stanley (his father) about the situation so that it can be resolved. Over the last few weeks, I have reached out to Justin, 5 times, following up about when this will happen and have been given various excuses (funeral, and busy). I have now filed a formal complaint with the CT BBB, and have sought legal counsel in this matter. Their unprofessionalism needs to be addressed, as well as their quality in product. I will never recommend them to anyone.

Very well. Well oiled group of workers. They were right on time, kept me informed throughout the project, and did a great job. Very responsive with any questions I had. Would highly recommend.

These guys were the best! They arrived when promised, stripped the old surface, took away all the material, prepped in a couple of hours. They returned first thing in the morning and did an amazing job paving the new driveway paying close attention to detail. They were professional, clean, exceptional equipment and did exactly what they promised for a reasonable price. Highly recommend GW!

I was never contacted by someone from the company about potentially stopping by to provide an estimate. Thus, I reached out the company twice through their website about coming by to check out our driveway and provide an estimate for the work. A month later, this has yet to happen. While I can't speak to the quality of their work, the customer service was non-existent.

It was good. He was pretty fast.

GW Paving actually arrived several weeks early than scheduled when they had an unexpected opening; they call to reschedule. George personally supervised the job. They completed the job the same day, and cleaned up well afterwards. The transitions to the street and to the garage sill were exceptionally smooth; only the color of the new asphalt indicates the area paved. They expertly accounted for drainage, as several recent rains have proven.
