Ted Zakhar was very pleasant and a pleasure to work with. He gave a fair estimate, which included the possibility of having to replace plywood. After several rough winters including ice dams, I was expecting that some of the existing plywood may have been damaged, and 6 sheets were in fact used which added $360 to the original estimate. I had to wait a week for him to start the job, because he did not have the power roof ventilator in stock. He said he could have done the job immediately and installed the ventilator when available, but I requested that the job start once everything was in stock. The job started within the week, and his crew worked through to completion, with the exception of one afternoon when a storm was expected and they had to leave early. The entire job spanned two days if you exclude the rain delay. They thoroughly cleaned the outside of the home and I have not found any debris from their work. I would highly recommend Zakhar's Roofing.

Ted was great to work with. He gave me a fair estimate, that was lower than other estimates that I had gotten, and when he found out that he did not have to replace everything that he though he would have to, he gave me a rebate off the estimated price. I had to wait a couple of weeks for him to start the job, but once he started they worked through to completion. They not only cleaned up the outside of the house, but also cleaned up the attic of all debris.

I have to say just from my short experience on the phone, I was unimpressed.

I called the owner and had him come out to give me an estimate. When I decided to have the work done, I called the company over and over again, and always got the same answer that he would get back to me. I finally gave up trying and am now looking for another roofer to do the work.

Overall excellent job. Did work in reasonable time. Workers were neat and orderly.
