Pat was terrific. He came to evaluate the heating for my son's room and ended up installing new thermostats in three areas, and creating another zone to accommodate the baby's needs. He was punctual, honest, cared about the job he was doing and we would definitely call on him again. Pat made an error in his plan (it was his first time installing the wireless thermostat to his credit) and he rectified it immediately and on a Saturday. He is from the old school, where people care about what they do.
Description of Work: Installed three new thermostats, created a new zone, installed wireless technology

Response was prompt, next day visit. Work was done quickly and efficiently. Pat is one of a few contractors who have a lot of experience, professionalism and honesty. He does not try to sell you a new $7000 a/c system when you need just to change a $20 capacitor. We were really lucky, thanks to Angie's List, to find this honorable contractor.
Description of Work: Changed the a/c condenser capacitor.

I called Pat this morning at 7:45 am, and he answered the phone right away. My AC was completely not working, and he took compassion on the fact that I have a baby in the house. He promised to make it to my house at some point that same day. He came by 11 am, diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed by 12:30 - before things got too bad with the noon sun! This is WITH a run out to a supply store to get the broken capacitor. He was professional, and very reasonably priced. You can tell that he is one of those rare old-school gems who believes in being responsible, reliable, and getting things done correctly. He explained everything that he was doing clearly, and he further explained any other potential issues with the unit. I HIGHLY recommend him, and plan to use him again in the future.
Description of Work: Pat came out to fix my broken central AC unit, in particular the external air compressor.

I finally got tired of running out of hot water, so I asked my dad if he could recommend someone to me. He had known Pat from his days in the oil business, so I called him and he came right over. About a week later, I watched as Pat and his men carried the water tank through our basement and down 3 stairs into the workroom. He then worked for almost 4 days straight. Here's the thing: Pat is a workhorse. He knows what he needs to do, shows up and does it. No fuss, no muss. This is the kind of guy who actually cares that the work is done correctly and the homeowner is satisfied.
Description of Work: Installed a new 60 gallon hot water tank, rebuilt an internal combustion chamber and installed new operating controls. Replaced an 18 foot smoke pipe. Installed 3 digital clock thermostats in the home.
