The pictures I've attached attest to what Mr. Harris evidently believes to be finished work, and these show things as they are after several go-arounds about problems with the job as it initially stood when the painter declared it done. It was a surprise was that the work was subcontracted. This created nearly daily issues in that I'd do walk-arounds with Mr. Harris, and he'd supposedly relay the job details to the subcontractor, and when I'd ask the subcontractor doing the actual painting, named Alex, why things weren't done, he'd claim he was never told by Mr. Harris and would complain that despite Harris living 10 minutes away, he'd not come over in person and straighten things out. This became so regularized and confusing I honestly don't know who was telling the truth. After the job was paid, his phone number was disconnected, website taken down, and emails not responded to. Mr. Harris and the subcontractor were polite at all times, and responsive to texts during the job, but it was maddening that I'd be given assurances things would be done and they weren't. I probably shouldn't have given them the second check, but I was losing so much of my own work time trying to keep track of what they were doing, I was very, very frustrated and wanted them gone. Upon close inspection, I found the types of things in the photos I attached. I tried contacting Mr. Harris via phone, text, and email, but the phone was disconnected and email went unanswered. Now, it's going to cost me a lawyer's fee to recover funds from Mr. Harris to get someone competent to fix the job. As someone on a family budget just trying to get a quality paint job on our house, it's really, frustrating to have to go through this. I feel like I was lied to, in person, about his "quality jobs".

When I contacted him, he wrote me back immediately, whereas most of the other companies I contacted did not. Now that I'm almost ready to begin that project again, they will be my first option.
Description of Work: I was going to have them remove my popcorn ceiling, but couldn't have the work done due to a sudden illness.

He had the most reasonable price. He was very punctual and we are very happy the work he did. He subcontracted the painting but did a great job overseeing all of the work and making sure it was up to par.
Description of Work: We live in a condominium and he was in charge painting the exterior and repairing some woodwork on the exterior of the condo plus other miscellaneous things.
