replacement windows

Although the price was far below Renewal By Anderson, building the windows took longer than I expected. When the windows WERE ready, I asked if I needed to be home for delivery and was told "No". However, the windows were not delivered because I was not home. Delivery was rescheduled for the morning of the install, but the truck was late, and installation had to be rescheduled for the next month. When the windows WERE installed, the installation crew was efficient, professional, and did a thorough cleanup afterward. I went with Lowe's of Norwalk based on a co-worker's experience. He apparently did not have the same delays I did. After placing the order with the salesman, I was "passed on" to a project coordinator, who did not return calls as quickly as she should have. This may be due to volume. In addition, Lowe's tracked my project with the wrong phone number (area code 202 instead of 203) and had no way to correct it. I like the windows, I liked the price, I liked the salesman, and the installation crew were great. The main problems were dealing with the "office".
