Description of Work: J F Buchta replaced ALL the wiring coming into the house with outdoor, salt water proof, heavy duty wiring, and moved the circuit breaker box with all circuit switches to the first floor. This was following Hurricane Sandy where I had 78 inches of salt water flood in my basement. The job was covered by flood insurance and a crew of 2 cheerful, competant electricians spent about 2 weeks on the job in Jan. '13 in the freezing basement. I was very satisfied with the work. The only downside of this experience was in the price bidding, which first came in as too high, then lowered to an acceptable level for the Flood Insurance Adjuster, then raised back up again after the completion of the job. I objected and the original agreed upon price was paid. I would recommend JF Buchta Electric for electric work, especially big projects such as mine.

 + -1 moreI am very pleased with their abilities, competency and work ethic. I have actually hired them for an additional electric job for the near future. There was a problem with one of the breakers not working properly. I telephoned the company and they sent the electrician right out. After evaluation, the electrician stated it was faulty. He replaced it free at no additional cost. On the initial installation and follow up call, they arrived on time.
Description of Work: The company removed and disposed of an old electrical panel board. The electrician installed a new one. My home is 2800 square feet. They also brought a power line from the street to my home.
