Description of Work: I had a very large home that dated back to the revolution and that had been updated by the Lockwood family in the 1880's and subsequently converted into apartments after my great grandmother bought it in 1923. A main water line on the third floor had cracked from the third floor to the basement and was leaking water down into the basement. That meant we could not use the third floor apartment nor was it rentable until that problem was solved. It was urgent that we get it repaired ASAP so we could proceed. Hilltop was recommended by another plumber, Bob Bona, who has worked with Hilltop Plumbing on larger projects and subsequently installed the Burnham steam boiler for the buildings heating system. Hilltop came promptly and gave me an estimate. Due to the sudden nature of the problem it was not an expenditure I had anticipated and money was tight. As I recall Bob Falcone said that his father started the business years ago and he started working with his father at a young age. That was about 35 or more years ago. Bob is assisted by Darrin. Darrin did most of the actual physical work but Bob supervised,assisted as necessary and has the many years of experience to know the best solution to a plumbing problem. Bob and Darrin did an excellent job, promptly and professionally in two to three days at the estimated price. I dont think there is anything such as a cheap plumber , so it was not cheap but it was fair and a quality job that will last many years. They did what they said they would do, in the time estimated and at the estimated price. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Highly trustworthy, highly recommend.
