Bad technical advice and lack of follow-up. The refrigerator had been slowly losing its ability to refrigerate over a period of many weeks, but the repairman decided the relay had failed (this does not make sense). They ordered the part and would follow up. They didn't follow up, but a few more weeks later, I did. Oh they had the relay now. Good to know. Another week to schedule the relay installation which of course didn't fix anything. I have to clean up the floor after every visit because they are not careful about protecting the location, but that's ok I can live with that. After the relay "repair" does nothing, they say it could be anything, maybe an obstruction. OK how much would that cost to try? Oh he has to talk to his boss see if he'd give me a deal. Two months later and no follow up. I call back, I get scheduled for yet another appointment one week out. In the morning of the appointment the repairman calls me at 7 am, irate, that he doesn't need to come, kind of blaming me? Well, three months later now, he finally communicates successfully with his boss, who then calls me to tell me that it might be $800 or $2,000. I am not going to invest more on this business. I chose them because they were local and family-owned, and they seemed like nice, if profoundly unprofessional, people. But at the end I am out hundreds of dollars, months of time, and a refrigerator that is more broken than when we started. It's like going to a local garage to repair your car, the kind of place that just tries to diagnose by replacing parts willy-nilly until maybe something works. And they seem to think this is the only way of going about repairs. Or maybe they are hoping you'll give up and sell them your broken appliance, which apparently they resell. They seem like nice people, but I'm not looking for someone to have a beer with.

They were fast. They came when they said they were going to, and fixed the problem easily enough. I didn't think that their service was too expensive.
