They came out twice for spraying juniper bushes which were affected by blight. Did what they explained to us was their plan for caring for landscape.

If I could give Dan and his people an A+ I would. Dan was prompt, courteous and kept in touch throughout the process. They showed up when they said they would, and worked incredibly hard, getting the jobs done far faster than I thought possible. His guys are excellent workers. I made a few changes from plan, and the response was always "No problem, we can do that." The prices were reasonable, and extra charges for change items either nothing or very reasonable. I give them the highest recommendation for any landscaping company I have worked with, and I have a great deal of experience in that regard.

The staff from SavAtree's Norwalk office was easy to work with and Jon came out promptly to give an estimate that ended up being the final cost. There was excellent communication by email regarding when the work would be done and when it was completed. The work was completed promptly from the time of the estimate. The arborists did an excellent job in trimming the trees and not leaving any debris in the yard. I was especially pleased with the work they did with a tree abutting power lines. I would definitely hire them again!

I have had lots of problems with contractors in the passed and was very reluctant to hire anyone anymore. But this was the greatest experience I have ever had with a contractor he has renewed my faith in them. He did just a fantastic job he came on time he did what he said he would do he removed 6 big trees and one huge tree in my back yard. All the other tree people said I would have to remove my fence to get to my tree in back yard he did not have me remove my fence. They would grind the stumps but I would have to fill it in my self. Mr Riccio grinned the stumps fill it in with top soil and seeded it and put straw on it all the wile giving me the best price anyone needing tree service should hire this company you will not regret it. My son in law needs a tree removed and will be calling Mr. Riccio.

They were supposed to arrive at 9am, but called and said they had to finish a job before they came. We were put out since we took a day off to work with them and make sure they did what we wanted. They said they would get there around 3 and work till 7 to put in a half day. They came, set up and went to work. They applied themselves and worked fast and neat. They took breaks, but they deserved them. When they came to a tree we thought should go, but they thought it should be saved, they consulted us and we appreciated the consult. They proved right every time.They dropped the trees exactly where they aimed and finished up well after 7 putting in a great 1/2 day work. The next day the pace didn't slacken and they accomplished more than we thought they would. The last day they did the biggest trees. They used a lift which didn't weigh as much as a truck and could go over our septic without a problem. Arrived early, worked hard and fast. Cleaned up well. Great team. It is a pleasure to say that they were worth what we paid them and we are very happy with the great professional job they did.

The owner, Dan Riccio, was very responsive throughout the entire project. I had a lot of questions upfront and he was great about describing how the entire project was going to be completed. We agreed on a price, which was highly competitive, and they began work within 2 weeks. Muddy conditions caused by heavy rained delayed the completion of the work but the crew worked fast and efficiently throughout. Communication was never an issue and Dan was agreeable to several additional requests that I made during the project. The entire project took approximately 2 weeks (with the weather delay) which was a little longer than we discussed but the result was much better than I was expecting. Dan is still contacting me 3 weeks after the project was complete to find out how the grass growth is progressing and giving me tips on how to improve the growth. Overall, we are extremely happy with the result and would definitely recommend Riccio to anyone.

Absolutely excellent service and performance in all areas. First, they responded promptly to my request for a proposal/estimate with the estimator being well experienced in tree removal and its nuances. He advised that the tree I thought to be a problem was not so but clearly and in detail explained why another was in need of prompt attention. When I accepted the proposal, a take down date was secheduled within a week. On the scheduled date, the crew and equipment arrived promptly at 8:00 AM as scheduled. All of their equipment was in first class condition showing it was carefully and properly maintained and serviced. They worked quickly but very carefully and were always observant of being absolutely safe in their operations looking to protect their workers and my property. When finished they completely cleaned up all the branches and wood chips and secured the logs for pick up the next work day, (it was a Friday). On Monday they called to advise that they ran into an unexpected delay on a previous job and would be here on Tuesday. On Tuesday at 8:00 AM the crew arrived with their equipment, (also in top notch, A-1 condition) and began the removal of the tree trunks and heavy logs. Before starting, they placed plywood sheets on the lawn to avoid tearing up the turf as the equipment traversed the area. I am absolutely pleased 100%+ with the work done and the professionalism of the work crew.

Dan responded quickly to my initial inquiry about getting a quote and was very patience while I did some homework and after some back and forth over a week I committed to job. Everything went well and turned out great. There were several changes made along the way that Dan suggested and were all good ideas. Dan was very honest and forthcoming throughout the project. He is always available to answer questions.

It was very positive with Riccio Landscaping and Tree Service. I still use them now. In fact, I still talk to him and he follows up with me every now and then. I plan on using him in the future. I have him come out every now and then and he looks at stuff. He's very professional, very knowledgeable and very responsive. It's always a very positive experience.

They were on-time and I didn’t have any concerns about them being on the property. They were conscientious and there no problems with scheduling. It was well-priced for the service they provided.

I found that both Dan (owner), and Megan (coordinator) to be very easy to work with. They were both very responsive, straightforward, and fair with their pricing. I would certainly use them for any projects moving forward.

I was thrilled with the results. For the work entailed I thought the price was a steal. The workers were extremely courteous and very conscious of the plantings I have. Everything was done in a timely manner and I was happy to have it done for the holiday. They took the trees down very carefully, I wasn't left with any divots in the yard or damage to my house/power lines. The job took two days, one day to take the trees down and the next to grind the stumps and plant grass. The crew was polite and everyone seemed to know exactly what their roll was. I'm planning on having them back in the spring to plant new trees in another location and would certainly recommend them!

Their work is very good. Riccio is very patient especially the first time we used his services because I was hesitant about removing the trees in my yard and wanted to transplant them. Their pricing is reasonable for the work we have had done through them. In the most recent experience Riccio was not at my house doing the work and the workers he had did not speak English so we had difficulties communicating. Riccio came to the house and helped resolve the communication issues.

Scheduling was good, they were able to accommodate my needs because I was trying to coordinate work with multiple contractors at my home. They are prompt in their service. They did a terrific job. I had no complaints with their work and I am planning on using them again in the future.

They clean up afterwards. They provide a good service and always arrive on time. When I have called him he has come out the following day to provide an estimate and will schedule the appointment as soon as possible.
