Clear Cut Tree - SavATree

Description of Work: Prune canopy and raise base on large Japanese Maple. Vicky was our arborist and was always prompt and knowledgeable. The only hitch was that since it was a small job, they needed to schedule it with other jobs nearby, but I wasn't made aware of this when I approved the contract so I was waiting to be contacted to schedule and heard nothing for over a week. Once Vicky and I spoke and she explained the scheduling challenge, the wait was more understandable. I was also frustrated that they couldn't make it on a weekend, but we ended up working out an afternoon that worked for us. The crew showed up promptly with Vicky, the arborist, even though it was pouring rain outside. Vicky explained everything to the crew and made sure we were happy. The crew worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up well after. I would recommend them.

Description of Work: I made multiple phone calls to request service, was looking for minimum of quartly service and possibly replacing my current lawn service. The woman was rude and not accommodating with appointment times making it impossible to even set up a service appointment. I tried to ignore it and waited for a call back for an appointment time but the woman never called me back.

Description of Work: Riccio did a number of jobs for us over the past ~2 months -- and all were done with the highest level of courtesy, professionalism and capability. The costs were reasonable and the service exceptional from beginning to end. Services included having several large trees removed, re-grading our backyard, landscape design and application in our front yard, backyard and side of the house. We really couldn't be happier with the finished product(s). Mike has been the point that we worked with on a day to day basis and he was/is fantastic...and we were also happy with everybody that we interacted with during the process. We highly recommend Riccio to meet all of your landscaping needs and we will continue to be customers moving forward for sure!

Description of Work: Dan Riccio and his crew took down a huge tulip tree close to the house and they cut up and removed logs and several trees downed by the storms in 2012. The weather this winter was extremely harsh, but whenever possible the men worked on this very big job. The Riccio company has all kinds of equipment to cut down trees in an area where a large cherry picker cannot be employed. They were very careful not to damage surrounding plantings that I marked. Their employees were resourceful and courteous while laboring under difficult conditions. Dan Riccio, the owner, was most of the time present and checked on the progress of the job.

Description of Work: Tree work was fine but somewhat expensive. Aeration of lawn produced hardly any plugs anywhere on our entire lawn. Seeding had no visible seeds and no new grass came up. Aeration was repeated with no charge with same results. Fall fertilizing & line application were done over leaves and were repeated with no charge.

Description of Work: Lawn Core Aeration Rep came to the house as a service call. Found out that I was put on a yearly contract that I had to call and cancel. I thought this was not what I was getting. I will be calling and canceling the contract. After 3 Weeks nothing was done so I had to call and then within a week they did do the work

Description of Work: Aerated out lawn. Because of the small size of our property the Company offered to overseed the lawn at no extra cost.

Description of Work: Triming a Hemlock privacy hedge (Hemlock hedge is approximately 20' long and 15'high).Four men with special ladders and poles made short work of it.

Description of Work: Pruned a tree away from house and electric service, removed dead branches and installed wire cables to support trunks.
