Very responsive, unlike other companies I tried to contact. Reliable. Took several weeks to get all the squirrels, but Pat showed up every morning, even in 5 degree weather, to check the traps and reset them. He patched up the entry hole once they had all been evicted, and we have had no problems since. We definitely recommend All About Bats and Wildlife.

John is systematic - they came in identified the problem. Gave us a quote and followed thru. They plugged 40 openings in our roof where the mice were climbing in. Can back multiple times to make sure the problem was taken care off and we were satisfied. Would definitely use them again without thinking about it
Description of Work: So we hired John and his team to help us complete a Mice issue in our home. We have a large footprint ranch home and thus the scope was not small.

I had flying squirrels entering my attic, creating a loud ruckus at night, preventing us from sleeping. After several attempts to block their access myself, I called All About Bats & Wildlife. Thankfully, they were able to fit me onto their schedule the very next day. The owner was very thorough in explaining all potential costs and services during the initial phone call. One of his workers, Pat came and set up humane traps in the trouble areas, and returned daily as needed to check and reset. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and professional. A full exclusion inspection and plugging of potential entryways was done. All squirrels were caught live to be released on the company's own land, which I was quite happy to hear. Terrific service, overall. I will definitely call them again for any future needs.

Pat came and thoroughly examined the entire attic and also walked around the house to see where an animal might find entry. He spotted a hole a squirrel had made under a soffit and found a partial nest inside the attic(!). He returned daily until he ultimately trapped and removed the squirrel (humanely), drove it many miles away and released it into woods. He sealed the hole and returned again several times to be sure there was no recurrence. The whole process took a week during which he checked each morning before we were even awake. I wish every service we needed had a Pat, and would call him again without hesitation.

The skunk moved on of its own accord, but AAB&W came back daily to check the traps they'd set, releasing anything that had been inadvertently caught (possum, among others), and built up the access areas the skunk had been using to deter it from returning.

My small yard was over-run with chipmunks and squirrels. The chipmunks would run right across your feet if you were sitting still. Over the course of one week John Grasso and his team caught and removed 1 skunk, 4 squirrels and 12 chipmunks. John got back to me immediately when I originally called, and within one day we were capturing the chipmunks. The technician, Pat, that came to my house everyday to check the traps and re-bait them was professional and personable. He treated animals with respect and explained to me how they are relocated. My yard is very quiet right now!

Excellent service, responsive and helpful.
Description of Work: Heard noises in attic - as well as noise in wall. John came promptly and saw that we had flying squirrels in attic. He did inspection and told us process for clearing attic out. He also did inspection of foundation and closed up mouse holes. Patrick came out each day to check traps and removed squirrels and closed up access points near roof. He was terrific and flexible and helpful and we could not be more pleased with the service we received. Highly recommend.

Trevor arrived punctually and gave a thorough inspection including finding and carrying out a flying squirrel carcass from the attic. His competitor didn't think it was necessary to go in the house during his inspection. It was quickly apparent to me that Trevor was very experienced and knows what he is doing. They arrived to do the work as scheduled and it appears as if they sealed exactly as promised. I really won't know for certain if the treatment was effective until next summer but I suspect it will be and he provides a ten year warranty so I'm not concerned. The only reason I didn't rate price as excellent is because it wasn't cheap however his price was considerably less than his competitor. It is dangerous work as I have a sloped property and a two story house with a tall roof line so I think it was reasonable. If you have a bat problem I recommend All about bats and Wildlife as your first call.

Beginning to end, great work by All about Bats & Wildlife. They provided thorough advice on my first call, offered seven days of service for my money and placed traps each day confirming wildlife activity with a postcard in my mailbox every evening to say what they had done, caught or released. I was able to call them to ask questions, report any little fellas who were trapped early before I left for work and they gave me solid info on what to release and why, how to seal off my deck and general 'living in the woods' considerations. Well, turns out we never did catch Woody Woodchuck and family even though they soft-plugged his hole and reconfigured the traps every which way. We came to the conclusion that Woody & Co. must have moved on. However, when I finally realized my service period was over and looked up the date they had started - get this, they had given me not seven but THIRTEEN days of service - at no extra cost just because they are genuinely committed to their wildlife projects and to solving people's problems. Recommend John & Team 100 percent.

I suspected that mice were entering the basement due to a decaying smell that suddenly occurred in the basement back in October and then again in May. I've lived in the house over 30 years and never had an issue with mice; however, I had some work done on the house about two years ago and I suspected that the workers did not cover all bases and therefore entry points were created. I called All About Bats and Wildlife based on the reviews from Angie's List. The message that I left was returned the next day and service was scheduled that following day. The provider arrived RIGHT on time, went right to work, explaining everything that he saw, and what he would do to handle the situation. He worked quickly, was thorough, and quite professional. He identified a few possible entry points but continued to inspect around and under the house to ensure that he had done a thorough job. Sure enough, the construction workers had created a large entry point that they failed to close off. The provider sealed four possible entry points and traps were left in case any mice remained in the house. Almost three weeks later, there hasn't been any indication that mice are in the house. I would definitely recommend this company!

We suspected Bats and found this company on Angie's list. It took a bit longer than we hoped for the call back and first visit (a week), BUT once organized they were professional, found all the locations where we had bats, prepared two quotes - one for basic treatment and one for more involved. They were fine to try the first (lower cost) treatment first. That went well and we decided to the the fuller treatment. Each time they came and did the agreed work exactly when they said they would. Most important - the bats are gone and there's on evidence they are coming back. The work is guaranteed for 10 years. We are extremely pleased and definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: They identified the various places we had bats (more than just behind the chimney like we first thought); they set up exclusion valves, sealed cracks & gaps, soffits, etc., applied an exclusion valve (so once the bats leave for the night, they can't come back). We had them back a few weeks later to do more detailed sealing of eaves and other gaps/vents.

We were very happy with them. We were having a problem with woodchucks burrowing all over our yard. We called several companies and All About Bats was the only one who got back to us right away and was responsive and professional. They arrived when they said they would, explained what they were going to do, and did it. Once the problem was resolved they promptly took the traps away. I felt like it was a good value and they didn't try to oversell us on solutions or extend the trapping time past what was needed. They seemed professional and fair. We would definitely call them again.

After using another squirrel removal company that could not remedy the problem within 5 weeks, these guys came in and took care of it within 5 days. They figured out it was a different type of squirrel than the original removal company diagnosed and took great care to find the entry point (a place the other company never even looked) and sealed it up. We have had no issues since then. These guys are great!

I did mention on the phone that I found their company on Angie's list and saw the deal for rodent removal. I did not buy directly from Angie's list so I am assuming that my cost was higher since they did not credit me with any discount. Less than 24 hours after the hole was plugged, I had another squirrel chewing thru the same exact spot to get back in my attic. I called my handyman. He came over & resealed the hole & also put some other type of screening or metal up over the area and charged me $50 for that work. I have had no other problems since then.
Description of Work: They responded promptly & professionally via phone contact. They came within a day or so and immediately saw (I was not at home to tell them) where the squirrel was entering my attic. They set up a trap outside of the hole. When they came back, one squirrel was trapped & removed. They left the trap up for several days to make sure no other squirrels were inside then they plugged up the hole.

This allows the bats to exit and Made re-entry impossible! Unknown to me, my neighbors nearby used the same service a few years before me and I failed to put up a no vacancy sign ;-) Oh and we were shocked to count over 80 bats leaving at sundown with only one successful return in our closed patio umbrella. No bats seen since then though our outdoor insect count has increased a fair amount as the bats kept our property fairly insect free in the summer. Win some, lose some!

Trevor Boone of All About Bats and Wildlife was punctual, professional and did a thorough job of "excluding" the bat(s) in my attic. He explained in detail what the process entailed (including that it is a humane process that doesn't hurt the bat) and generally put my mind at ease. It is evident that Trevor loves what he is doing, it shows in his approach to his work. The price for the exclusion was extremely fair compared to other quotes I obtained and his guarantee of his work was the best by far (10 years compared to 1 year). I wouldn't want to have these critters in my attic again and thanks to Trevor, I most likely won't, but if a stray one was to somehow get in, I know Trevor would be there to take care of the situation. Family-owned business for 40 years, so you know they'll be around. I would recommend All About Bats without reservation.

We called Reid on Labor day weekend- after we saw a bat flying around our living room and noticed some bats hanging out in our attic vent - and while he was not able to come over right away- he did contact us first thing Tuesday morning and stopped by later that morning. He surveyed the house, was very knowledgeable about bats in general and was able to do the work the next day. He checked and filled all entryways into our 2 attics and we have been bat free since. I highly recommend his company if you have bats or any other unwanted pests around your house.

After our pest control company had alerted us to the presence of bats in our attic, I had gotten a quote from a company recommended by the pest control company to remove the bats and prevent them from returning. Figuring I ought to do my due diligence, I got a second quote from All About Bats and Wildlife based on their positive reviews on Angie's List. Trevor came out to take a look and gave a thorough and clear explanation of the process they would use and gave a bid that was less than half of what the other company had given. The work was scheduled promptly and was done effectively with good follow-up (a return trip to remove the one-way valves and do some final cleanup). They give a 10-year warranty on their work, so we don't expect any further bat issues, but we wouldn't hesitate to use All About Bats again in the future for any bat or other wildlife issues in our home or on our property.
Description of Work: We hired All About Bats to get rid of a small colony of bats we found to be living in our attic. They did the job promptly, completely and at a fair price.

After my dog had an encounter with a skunk under our backyard shed (she got sprayed), I called AAB the next day after seeing them on here. I was panicked, thinking we had a family of skunks living under our shed, and was desperate to get a professional in to take care of the problem. John (I think that was his name) called me back right away and offered to swing by my house and take a look. He called me later that evening and told me that he didn't see evidence of a skunk residence, so it was probable that a skunk had "stopped by" and then the encounter with my dog scared it off for good. Several things I liked about this guy--first, he called me in the evening, on his own time. Second, he wouldn't allow me to pay him for his consultation even though he came over and got underneath my shed. Third, he didn't take advantage of the fact that I was stressed about my dog getting skunked and probably would have paid just to make the problem go away. Instead, he urged me to first check if there WAS a skunk habitat there before I spent hundreds of dollars for them to set up traps. He mentioned what I needed to do to stop future skunks from inhabiting under the shed--dig a trench, fill it with chicken wire, and then make that chicken wire go up to the bottom of the shed and, from the ground up, attach a lattice wood piece all around the shed. To check that there wasn't a skunk living there, he advised me to almost finish the "fence," but leave a small area and staple a plastic bag across the gap. If the bag wasn't disturbed in 2 days, there was no skunk. If it was, call him and he'd set up traps. He offered to have his guys do this trench/fence set-up, but estimated the labor would cost around $800 ( and after doing it myself, I can totally see why--it took forever). But he advised doing it myself to save on labor costs. There was even one point in the conversation when I, eager to have this potential skunk removed permanently, basically asked if he could just set up traps even thought we didn't KNOW there was a skunk. He said he would do that, but that the business was all about customer service, and he didn't want me to spend hundreds of dollars on trapping when we didn't even know if the skunk was living there or just passing through. So, I took his advice and my husband and I carefully followed his instructions and built the structure around the fence. It took forever but we ascertained there was no skunk and then sealed up the fence. I could not be more impressed with this company's professionalism or dedication to customer service. You really don't see that much these days. I easily could have been talked into spending a lot of money just to wrap up the issue and not have to deal with it myself, but this guy was sensible and saved me hundreds of dollars. If I ever have another wildlife problem, I will absolutely call AAB and will be happy to work with them.
Description of Work: My dog had an encounter with a skunk in our backyard, which I believe was living under our shed. This provider replied to my call immediately the next day, drove out to inspect the area free of charge, and called that evening to provide details and an estimate. Most importantly, he did not pressure me to get an expensive trap removal but rather urged me to make sure there was indeed a skunk living there before spending any money. He wouldn't let me pay him for his time during the inspection, even though he got on his back and crawled under my shed. I ended up not needing him because, per his instructions, my husband and I built a wire and lattice "fence" around the bottom of the shed and tested for a skunk presence by leaving a plastic bag stapled to a small opening in the fence. The bag didn't move for 2 days, so we were safe and closed up the hole.
