Trimworks Painting & Powerwashing

Our house needed exterior painting as some of the paint was beginning to peel. We got 5 estimates and Trimworks provided one of the lowest. What impressed me most about Mark Cisto (owner) was his responsiveness, his attention to detail, and his use of high quality material. While it took the other painters days (if not weeks) to respond to my request for an estimate, Mark responded in less than 24 hours. Further, once he began the job, he always responded to my calls within 24 hours (usually within 4 hours). He is mature, meticulous, professional, and respectful. He generally works alone, so you know that a bunch of rough looking dudes are not going to show up at your house after the well-groomed representative makes the sales pitch to you. He did not litter my lawn with trash and he cleaned up at the end of every day. He uses very high quality paint and he hand painted the entire exterior of the house. He does not use a sprayer because the droplets might get on things that don't need to be painted (cars, windows, plants, etc). He was courteous and helpful in regard to selecting colors. He power washed the entire house, prepped the woodwork (scraped, sanded, patched, spot-primed), and then applied the paint. It took him 2.5 to 3 weeks to complete the job (because he works alone) but we were in no rush and preferred quality over speed. Mark even went the extra mile and repaired some damage my husband did to the exterior woodwork with a stump-grinder halfway through the job (at no extra cost). At any rate, we were very pleased with the paint job and the house looks wonderful. Mark indicated that he was cutting back on the exterior jobs and would be primarily focusing on interior work in the future, but I'm sure he does a wonderful job on whatever he paints.
