+ -1 moreJosh and his crew did an excellent job of removing a tree that was leaning & getting too close to the house. Did a good job of grinding the tree stump, leveling the dirt & placing new grass seed down too. Also had a new tree, an Eastern Red Bud, planted. Josh answered my questions on tree care, watering, mulching etc., and they will do a follow up next year to see how the new tree is doing. I would definitely recommend Green Valley Tree and will use them again. Thanks!

Description of Work: I hired Green Valley Tree for two different chores. The first was to remove five large Poplar trees that were threatening my barn. They climbed into the trees and lowered the cut pieces by rope, then chipped the limbs. The second chore was to trim a large old Sugar Maple that shades my deck. In strong winds the tree threatened to split. They cabled the tree in two places and trimmed three truckloads of small branches so that the wind would move through the tree as through a screen door. Now when the wind blows, the tree moves as one piece and definitely handles the wind much better.

+ 0 moreThe trees were removed through roping and climbing them to remove limbs first. The crew was very careful not to damage surrounding trees as well as our house. Chipped and cleaned up all debris- very professional job. The crew arrived on time and was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend them.
