drain cleaning

Description of Work: I had a flood in my basement at 3am from my old 50 gallon electric hot water heater. I contacted Pro Tech LLC, and the owner Blake answered the phone directly..no answering service. He came out to my home within the hour to shut off the cold water supply to the tank to stop the flooding then returned the following morning at 10am with my new hot water heater. He disconnected the old heater and removed it then installed new PEX lines and a new PEX shut off valve and installed the new tank. After the tank install was complete he spent about 2 hours vacuuming out the water from my basement and then left me with a dehumidifier and industrial blower to dry the room out and for the install and clean up he charged me $400 out the door. I would recommend him for any plumbing or sewer and drain emergency.

drain pipe
+ -1 moreBlake from Pro-Tech did an amazing job installing a new stand pipe. He needed to saw off part of the cast-iron clean out and fabricated a new stand pipe setup. He created a super sturdy connection to the old pipe using epoxy. He also reamed out the main sewer line a second time at no extra charge. Blake was friendly, professional, and very helpful explaining the issue, the options, and why he needed to do what he did. In my two years as a home owner, he is the best technician who has worked on our home. I highly recommend him and will certainly call him again when I have plumbing issues.
Description of Work: Blake unclogged the main sewer line. Then he returned for a followup and repaired the washing machine stand, which had been installed improperly by a previous homeowner.
