Description of Work: They charged the AC with 3 lbs of coolant . It took about 20 minutes and was $150 for the first lbs, and $80 each additional. I guess that's the price we pay. Nice technician.

Description of Work: Central Air not cooling. Cleaned filter and shut down system for 24hrs to cool down compressor. Returned and restarted and working great. Plan to start a servive contract because company very responsive and willing to work with my schedule to try to arrange appointment time

Description of Work: We called late at night to set up an appointment for a service tech to visit our house. Early the next morning, they called and said they could send someone right away. Unfortunately, we had already set up an appointment with another company. The people I spoke to on the phone were polite, professional and friendly.

Description of Work: I called emergency line about the leak of gas heating pump. The tech called back fast and arrived at the house within 2 hours. he was very honest and professional. When he found out the reason was simply of pump being unplugged, he did not charge me penny. Definitely recommend them.

 + -1 moreThis company was courteous when I called and offered appointments in a very timely fashion. I had previously called other companies and was shocked at the condescending attitude received. Other companies were very "busy" with "regular" customers and had appointment times far in the future or, not at all. When I called Nero, the customer service woman was extremely pleasant, understanding and accommodating. Within 2 days the company sent someone out to evaluate. He was upfront, knowledgeable and, because our heater was so old (50+ yrs), he referred us to the owner. The owner was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He offered us all the alternatives from machining a new part to the furnace, to installing a new system. The owner suggested, due to the age of this furnace machining a part would be impractical and replacement would be a more prudent choice. He was absolutely correct. Machining new parts, we needed 2, would have been costly and there would be no guarantee something else wouldn't break; after all the furnace was over 50 years old! We went with the 95% efficient furnace although other choices were given. This seemed best for us. The price was excellent. It was installed 1 week later along with an additional run. The (2) men installing it were very professional. They answered all of my questions, were very pleasant and worked at a very fast steady pace. I actually can say I enjoyed their witty conversation along with the complete explanations on how,to's and what-knots of the installation and running of the heater. The only issue was the mounting brackets for the air filter was not secured but this was remedied almost immediately (within 1 day). This heater is excellent! We are toasty warm and it works marvelously. Excellent job and kudos to Nero. We would most definitely use them again and for other projects as well. We highly recommend them!!
Description of Work: Full replacement of gas forced-air furnace, all duct work and additional run into finished part of basement. The furnace was replaced with a 95% efficient, gas-fired Goodman furnace.

 + -1 moreThey were quite honest. I know a lot of companies, who tried to sell me another new unit at a time. But they told my unit still has some life in it. They were really good. I will continue to use their service in the future.
