We then gave them a China cabinet which we are picking up today. We are dropping off an old dresser to be repaired and refinished.

Mr. Judd was very professional and did a fine job bringing my grandfather's cabinet back to life. He reapplied the mahogany veneer and refinishing overall. Beautiful job overall!

The owner, Fred promised to come at a given date, he came as he promised, looked over the furniture we discussed the price and he took the furniture and on the promised date he delivered them looking new and beautiful. I can only recommend him very highly. Veronika Grimm

I am moving into smaller home and will no longer have a separate dining room. My 49 yr old dining set is Ethan Allen furniture and when purchased I wanted the plain wood finish on the table top because it would not be for every day use and I would have it covered with a pad when using it. Now that I want to use the table for everyday use, I wondered if it could be treated with some sore of polyeurethane to give it a more durable finish. I contacted the F W Judd Furniture Refinishing establishment and a very pleasant gentlemen told me the only way that could be done would be to completely refinish the top which is still in excellent condition. He told me that the Ethan Allen furniture of 49 yrs ago would have a substantial finish on it already and I probably would have no problem if I just used a tablecloth, which would save me the cost of refinishing. He was very honest in his information and could have steered me in an entirely different direction which would have cost me and financially benefited him. I thanked him for his honesty and professional opinion. It was refreshing to deal with an establishment that had professional ethics and practiced them. If I do decide to go the route of full refinishing, I will certainly contact this Company.

We were pleased. It went very well. The price was fair. It wasn’t cheaper but he did a quality job, which is what we were looking for. He did an excellent job. He is a craftsman and that is what we wanted. The table and chairs were 70 or 80 years old and had been made well. He did a beautiful job.
