ConnReno

The job did not go well from the start. After paying $1,621.84 (on 5/3) all in advance of the work being started/completed, it took many days beyond the agreed upon start date before the work was started. On May 11, I texted Brian (owner of ConnReno) to find out when he would begin the job (as he indicated the person who was doing the job suddenly was hurt. My gut was that because Brian wanted to get the contract to renovate our bathrooms and we had not decided on him as we were exploring other contractors he became upset and decided to delay completing of the patio (which we paid in full for). Eventually Brian sent someone to do the work, but he was never on the scene while the work was being performed. We needed to call Brian to come look at the "completed work". In addition, we sent pictures to him of the awful job that was done. Also, the wood/materials that was removed to created the patio were left for us to dispose of. Brian came back and worked on the patio to get it looking better, but there still were concerns. I sent pictures to Brian of the patio where things needed to be fixed (i.e. the entire side of the patio is rough/unfinished and there is a piece of concrete block that protrudes out -- not only does it aesthetically look awful but it is also dangerous as my child could fall on it and may get hurt). Brian indicated that his guy will come back to our home to fix these concerns in two weeks (it's now been about a month and no one has come to fix them).
