I met with Brian when I was getting quotes for roofs, and his quote was by far the best value. When I scheduled the roof replacement Brian brought his team in and completed the job in 1 day including a great clean up. 3 Months later and the roof looks great and is solid. I also had him do my shed roof and chimney cap. All in all a great experience.

I called and spoke with someone immediately, no voice mail! Someone was able to come that day to estimate the job and did the repair that day. The work was done perfectly and cost was fair. I am very pleased and and will use them again for future work.

Brian ( owner) was responsive from the start. He went to my house two different times to clarify exactly what I needed done . He provided an estimate of both price and time required to complete the job . As this is a summer house , we couldn't be on site for any of the work , so Brian provided us with photos throughout every step of the job . He delivered exactly what was promised and didn't destroy any of the plantings around the job site . I was very pleased with the overall experience.
Description of Work: a portion of the roof needed to be replaced as well as all of the lead flashing around the stone chimney needed to be removed and replaced.

Excellent and highly professional service from start to finish. A well-oiled machine of a staff where each member was highly skilled at his job. Extensive Winter storm damage and Bryan and his crew came in and stripped all the old roofing, re-roofed, replaced the gutters and downspouts, painted, etc... the complete job! They were meticulous in their detail work, cleanliness, and professionalism.

Very high pressure sales tactics. No firm estimate, but waffling on the estimate, leaving room for price increase after the job was done. No written estimate. The owner has been in court many, many times over the last year--approximately once/month per the Ct State judicial website, with judgments against him. He called me several times after I told him I had another contractor to do the job.
Description of Work: I had several conversations with Brian Wadman, the owner. He was high pressure, and he waffled on the price. He charged a $195 fee just to show up for snow removal from the roof, which none of the other contractors did. He charged $75/ man/ hr. He said the job would take 2 hrs for 5 men. Later he said the job would take 3 hrs for 5-6 men. He did not give a firm price, and I would be in no position to argue if the job took 6 hours. He did not give me a written estimate. He called me several times after I told him I had found another contractor to do the job. He talked fast, and he offered to come out to work for one hour (for pay), and if I didn't like the job, I could ask them to quit then. Very high pressure. The actual name of the company is Elite Construction. Brian has been in court at least 12 times in the last 12 months if you check the state judicial public records online.

Hi Member, and any one reading this I am Brian Wadman and i am here to tell my side of the story. Hear me out if you would I'm not a bad guy. First off I don't know why you are so up set with me and my business. All i tried to do was give you a price over the phone by what you where telling me needed to be done. That is all. i do apologize that i called you back twice by accident after you asked to be taken off my list of over 100 homes i was trying to remove snow and ice off of. I was not trying to push my way in to your job i was trying to return the calls in the order they where coming in. Also i was so swamped with work and calls (over 150 a day for 2 weeks strait) some times all i was writing down was peoples phone numbers and the town they lived in. so thats why you got two calls from me after you asked to be taken off my list. One was a check i to see if you still needed us and one was because i was close to your town and i called again. Before i get into all the things you said about me and my business let me tell you about the last month and how it went down. about a month ago i received my first call about ice build up so i went out to the home and did it for free for this older lady. It only took a few minutes of my time and i stopped her leak. later that night i get another call for the same thing on a different home, the next day i go and do that home for a small fee $100. during that day 5 more calls come in for the same type of leak. I also got a call from a relater and insurance compony, they needed 5 or 6 houses cleared of all snow and ice. So then i knew there was a market for a licensed and insured roofer to stop leaks and remove snow. So i put a few ads around and when those ads went out i was getting more calls then i could handle. the peak days i got over 200 calls. let me now clear up what you wrote or thought about me: the things you said will be in "....." "He was high pressure" I'm really not at all. i never ask a home owner to sine a contract when i bid there roof. i leave the bid with them and tell them to call me if they would like us to do the job. I have always been told thank you for not forcing your business on us and thank you for your bid. And about 75% of the time the home owner calls me back and says YOU GOT THE JOB "He charged a $195 fee just to show up for snow removal from the roof, which none of the other contractors did. He charged $75/ man/ hr." 1st off i did not charge it. that was only a quote. 185 greenwoods rd Norfolk (where i live) to (your house) is over 45 minutes drive time so $195 to come out when i'm paying my 4 men drive time both ways i don't think is unreasonable. I don't know who els you called but they may have lived in your town there for not had to charge you drive time and gas. "He said the job would take 2 hrs for 5 men. Later he said the job would take 3 hrs for 5-6 men." again i never seen the job, the house size, the amount of snow or the amount of ice that was on your home so how could i give an accurate price? If i spent my time driving around looking at jobs like this giving prices i would not have gotten a forth of the homes we cleared of done. "He did not give a firm price" see above post "I would be in no position to argue if the job took 6 hours." I did tell you we cleared over 70 or so roofs off at this point (Feb 5th or so) and not one of them home owners where unhappy with the job or price we gave them. (and i have a lot of references if you send me your email you can cal them) i also told you we would leave after the first hour if you where un happy with our work or price. your home is 5,166 square feet and the roofs are low pitched, even tho we did 5 commercial building for snow removal yours is not a typical home. "He did not give me a written estimate." i was never there how could i have given you one? and see above "He called me several times after I told him I had found another contractor to do the job." your right about this one. this is my fault. i did. i remember one of the two calls well, i know i said sorry for bothering you and said i will not call again. I had over 400 numbers on 20 different pages and i am sorry again. is this on of the main reasons why you felt then need to bash my business? I do not think of my self as a "fast Talker" but i may have been taking fast and being short with you because some one might have been on the other line waiting for me to answer there call and i might have even been on a roof working when you called. "Very high pressure." no. not me. not true "The actual name of the company is Elite Construction." yes! this is correct. i now only do roofing and Elite Roofing is the name i advertise. i have nothing to hide and if you can find any thing negative on Elite Construction or Elite Roofing other then this one post then please let me know. i have over 200 roofs under my belt and 200 roof clearings also with no problem. ever. "Brian has been in court at least 12 times in the last 12 months if you check the state judicial public records online." this one is one of the worst things you put on here. i know i have not been to court for my business ever. i went up there once for a seat belt ticket. and once for a fight with an old friend that called me for a hand with something and then after i helped him got into an argument with me and he hit me then called the cop. i went to court and it was thrown out. Pleas post a link to where you say i have been in court many, many times over the last year--approximately once/month per month. thats not true! "with judgments against him" What? Thats just not right. i think this is borderline slander. again i would love too know why you are so against me.
