TIM WILDER TREE CARE

Tim and his crew were excellent. They were right on time and left my yard just like they found it. I understand why so many of our neighbors recommended him. Glad I went with this company and have already recommended him to a friend.

Mr. Wilder gave us an estimate for the work that we requested... he walked our yard with us and was informative regarding what would be best, as well as what was needed vs. optional... was direct about the services that he could provide, and made suggestions for additional contractors, eg. spraying hemlocks. He trimmed and cabled trees around our yard as was agreed upon.

Job went very well. Would use them again.

Tim's service was recommended by a friend. We checked out his credentials on Angie's List (we subscribed just for this reason) and found uniformly positive reviews. He was on time for the scheduled appointment to provide an estimate, and showed up reasonably close to the date on which he said he could schedule us. Best of all, you could not tell that his equipment had even been on the property. Tim and his crew were efficient and respectful and did everything exactly as we had discussed. No hesitation recommending him!

The crew, including Tim, arrived on time and got right to work. They were professional and no nonsense. They even laid out plywood on the lawn so as not to damage the grass as they maneuvered their truck. I appreciated that. They cleaned up as they went along and were finished in a very timely manor. I am happy with the outcome and would recommend Tim Wilder Tree Care.

He did a great job. The tree was about 20 inches in diameter. He had to cut it up and remove all the wood and branches. He left everything as it was before he came but with no maple tree; there was no junk around. I don’t know how he treats non-regular customers, but with regular customers like me who give him all the time, I know he is extremely responsive to needs. I know he is busy, and yet when I have problems, he sends someone over right away to take care of them. I live in the woods, and there are lots of trees and they keep falling down on things. I had one fall on the shed in the back and another one that almost hit the car. He has done some maintenance work since then so it does not happen anymore. He is professional, on time and extremely efficient. Tim follows up; he always calls to see how things are and makes sure everything is satisfactory. We get real good service from him. His price is right. I don’t even shop around anymore. I have had a couple of insurance claims for some damage, and they have never questioned his prices. He treats his customers very well. He has got all the necessary licenses. He is very concerned about the quality of his work and makes sure that nothing else gets damaged while he is doing the work. I would highly recommend him and would continue to use him in the future.

Tim arrived exactly at the scheduled time to provide an estimate for the tree work. Tim is a very friendly guy, and he's very professional and knowledgeable. He provided me with a written estimate on the spot. I felt the estimate for the work was very reasonable. Tim was able to schedule the work a few weeks out which was not an issue for me. Tim and his crew arrived on the scheduled day, exactly on time. After performing the work, Tim's crew did a flawless cleanup of the yard and driveway. I would highly recommend you talk with Tim regarding any tree work you are considering.

Tim came to our house to look over the tree and gave us a quote for removing a large partially hollowed out tree close to our house and trimming of two other trees. He gave us an approximate date of when he would be able to return and take down the tree - which was about a month from his visit. His assistant called to confirm a date (which was exactly when he said he would come out) and time. Tim and his crew were on time, took the large tree down, trimmed the other two trees and left the property cleaned up. He even cut up the trunk and branches into sections that, once we finish chopping them up lenghtwise, will be able to fit into our fireplace. Tim is a friendly, no nonsense guy who is professional, and does what he says he will do and sticks to the price he quoted. I will definitely use him again.

We basically got a number of estimates with TIm Wilder being one of them. His punctuality was excellent as well a his work. Again we would highly recommend his work to anyone needing tree work

The nature of my property made it impossible to get a bucket truck into the area where the trees were. This meant that Tim would have to climb, cut and lower branches and trunk. These oaks were very large and hanging over my yard and house. Tim and his crew showed up early, were very gentle with my property ( limbs needed to be dragged from the back to the driveway through a gate in a wooden fence. Tim and the boys put down sheets of plywwod to protect the ground, the corner of the house and the gate of the fence) and didn't harm a thing. As the trees came down, they were cut into 18 inch lengths and stacked neatly on the other side of the yard. The slash was chipped and taken next door to my neighboor who had asked me for the chips. When they were finished stacking, they cleaned up, re-hung the gate on my fence and left me with a new, beautiful view of the sky and a pile of wood, that when split, should net me with approx. 8 cords of firewood. I highly recommend Tim Wilder Tree Care. I have him coming back soon to remove two additional trees and to do some more chipping. If you are in the Newtown area and need tree work, Call Tim. A very large sugar maple fell across my backyard. Tim Wilder came out and gave me an estimate that was several hundred dollars better than anyone else. We agreed that he would remove the tree and his team came out within a few days and cut up and removed the tree.
