Owner came to do the estimate, which went fine. When workmen showed up though, they were late and almost forgot to do the lower level. Communicating with the crew was difficult, as only the crew leader spoke any English, and that was precious little. They rushed the job. The resulting work was sub-par, especially the finish, which did not dry well and bubbled in every room. When I called back to complain, the owner was "on vacation," and I never got a return call. I won't use them again.

These guys refinished our floors when we bought our house in 2004 and did a good job. We had them come back and lay down hard wood floors in the one room that had carpet, the quote seemed reasonable and my instructions to them were to match the new floor the existing floor. Had them do the work while we were out of town so we didn't have to deal with the dust. Came back from our trip to find they had given us a disproporate number of short boards, left chips/gaps and didn't even take the time to remove the base board moulding and left a 1/2 inch gap between the floor and moulding. When I called them out on it they said that number 1 oak is now being delivered in with smaller boards these days - I didn't ask for number 1 oak, I asked them to match the rest of the house. Secondly, they said I could fix the moulding issue by adding quarter-round - even though it doesn't exist in the rest of the house and would stick out like a sore thumb. Finally, when they finally came out to review it in person my wife asked one of the installers if he thought this job had been done right and he said no. We with held the balance due and filed a complaint with the BBB but to no avail... bottom line, these guys will never enter my house again nor would I recommend them.
