I sent an email (or made contact through your website ? I'm assuming that was an email sent to this contractor?) and made a call to MIREK MASONRY. I never received a response to my email. I spoke with a woman at the number listed with his ad. She had an accent and was difficult to understand but she asked me to leave a message. She said he would call me back at 5pm that day. I never received a responses either by email or phone. This was my first attempt at contacting someone on you 'list' and I am quite discouraged. I joined after hearing such good things but not so sure at this point.

We set up an appointment and he never showed and never called. I called him twice and he never responded. I also emailed him and he also never responded.

They were very professional and their response time after the accepted estimate was phenomenal. The price for service gave us the biggest bang for our buck. Their estimate was the best among other Angie's List Clients. We are thrilled with the quality and craftsmanship of the work

In all, I got 7 bids from various companies (landscapers and paving companies) for this project. This was the first time we had done this kind of work so we were shocked at the variance in the bids we received and the quality of the work we reviewed. The highest bid was $38,000 and the lowest, by far, was Mirek's bid. We got references from each company we were serious about as well as actually went to some homes to see previous work they had done. (Mirek was recommended to us from a friend, so that is how we got his name originally.) We are very satisfied with the quality of Mirek's work, his price, the value and ideas they suggested and their craftsmanship. They (Mirek and two other guys)started and ended when they said they would. There were no surprised and they worked very hard. We could tell they took great pride in the work they do and it shows. They are all polish and at times, it is a bit hard to understand, but worked fine. He gave me a written bid.

THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK. I THOUGHT THAT THEIR PRICES WERE COMPETITIVE. I FELT COMFORTABLE WITH THEM IN MY HOME. THEY WERE POLITE PEOPLE AND DID WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO.
