Description of Work: The man replaced the washer in my 1924 tub faucet but a more extensive job will need to done at another time. But for now I am not losing a ton of hot water.

Description of Work: Tenant complained of heat coming on very hot in shower. Advance inspected and determined a valve was faulty in the water heater. They checked out the price of the valve ( 300 ) and recommended just replacing the water heater ( 1000 ) since it was at end of life. | |They were quick - the tenant was happy - and the problem was solved first time. I was very happy with Advanced and will use them for all related issues going forward.

Description of Work: Paul, our technician, fixed a leak under the kitchen sink which required rerouting the water through a new pipe because of a rotted horizontal pipe hidden between the wall and cabinets. He quickly figured out the leak after I showed him what was happening. He had to work under the kitchen sink and in our garage to fix the problem. He left once for parts, was very courteous and polite, friendly to me, my son and our dog. Also, I messaged the company from Angie's List on Saturday and Mike, the owner, called me within about 10 minutes of the message I sent out! I was surprised and happy to see such great service! He said he would have someone out Monday if he could, and he did as he said-calling Monday morning and having Paul come out by mid morning. Overall, great experience. The price quoted seemed fair for the job (I did not have any other quotes), and having read the reviews on Angie's list which most stated prices were fair-I went with it and had Paul start the work right away. I told my mom already of my good experience and she wants me to give her their number tonight for work she needs done! Thank you everyone at Advanced Plumbing & Heating! I am so happy to not have a leaky sink anymore....it could have destroyed our floor!

Description of Work: The disposal in my sink stopped draining even though it continued to run. Advance worked diligently for more than an hour to repair it, first removing some metal that was hindering the disposal and then finding a blockage in the connection to the drain that was the principal cause of the problem. They also tightened a leaky hose intake on a toilet at no charge. The two technicians arrived when the dispatcher said they would, and they were professional, competent and polite.

Description of Work: I needed bathroom fixtures removed to lay new flooring and because I was working around another contractor it was really important that they arrive on time for de-installation and re-installation. This company made the commitment and then delivered on that commitment! Price was competitive and they worked quickly to complete the project. I'd definitely use this company again.
