They are fine. I've been using them for 35-40 years.

I've been a customer of Superior for about 2.5 years and, generally speaking, they offer a good service. Like most residential clients in CT, I lease my tanks from Superior, which requires me to purchase fuel (used in the tanks) exclusively from them. Like other vendors, Superior offers 'introductory' rates to new clients which continue to increase over a 1-2 year period to a point (in my case) where they may become significantly higher than what other vendors are charging (at least in the Litchfield area). I recently ran out of propane (which shouldn't have happened as Superior is supposed to periodically check the fuel levels). When I contacted them they offered to provide an emergency tank (10 gallons) the same day and to fill the 2 100 gallon tanks the following day (which they did) but at a cost of $5.35/gallon. The retail price of propane in CT is up, having peaked at $3.90/gallon in February (I called a number of vendors in the area, who confirmed the latter price). Bottomline, I would rate Superior's service as good but their pricing (at least for propane) as high. I plan to switch vendors.

They are really, really excellent. They have a couple of locations here and their trucks are seen all over the place; yellow trucks. I have a contract with them for the heating oil and for the water heater repairs. They have excellent promotions for their customers and for new referrals, like if I refer somebody I get some amount off my oil delivery bill. I like their personal service and their customer retention program. I like that they have offers on extended services like, furniture repair, and water heater repair and oil tank warranties. They have lots of programs that one can pick and choose from. Their office staff is excellent. I would recommend them.
