I did not choose them. We had friends take care of the job at a much lower cost.

SavAtree was very unprofessional. After chopping the tree down they left it on the grounds over the weekend after sending us an email saying that they had to do someone else's job. This created a hazard for our family. After they cleared the wood and shaved the stump for which we payed extra they left the area with tire ditches and a large covering of "mulch" which they said we had to have someone come and level and then plant grass. This cost me an extra $400. I had only hired them because they came recommended - but after this experience I will not hire or recommend anyone else hiring them. After we called and complained about the service we received no response.

Savatree is a large company and their Danbury, Ct. office serves the Putnam county area. Mr. John Haggerty is a Arborist and was the initial man on site. The two trees are close to the house and I was prepared for the verdict of cutting them down. However, after inspecting both trees, John saw no need to cut them down and suggested that a pruning, cutting to balance and cabling were all that was necessary. These are two huge and beautiful trees and I was glad to hear that. Also, the job became much less expensive than cutting them down. The quote was exactly what the job was done for. A work order was emailed to me for approval. Once approved, the job was scheduled promptly. The work crew arrived on time and completed the job with speed and professionalism. John was there to start the job and arrived immediately after the job to check out everything. The job site was totally cleaned and all debris removed. There are future jobs which I will definitely use this company for and hopefully with John supervising the work again. I highly recommend this company for an honest appraisal of work, knowledge of trees, professional work, accurate quotes, and a total cleanup of the job site.

Tree removal was quick - they were careful to remove all downed trees, wood and cleaned up the entire areas. They also recommended against taking down a tree we wanted to remove - they told us it was healthy and did not require removal.

the salesman that set up job and appraised it was very professional and straightforward they called a couple of days in advance and showed up when they said they would at @ 830-9 He set up the crew with instructions of what i wanted done and they went to work right away. The guys worked very well together and very professional. They were very cautious with lowering logs and branches. Luckily they were able to drive the "boom"truck around to area with trees. They methodically worked their way around the house cleaning up as they went. job was done to my satisfaction and I tipped the guys for their professionalism as well as their good work Though i checked box that i would use them again, because i couldn't send this review without it, i am not sure i will use them again mainly because of the the price. Because of the guys good work ,I might.

The large tree was loosing branches and was a hazard. The other trees had branches that were to close to the house or porch. They did a very nice job and completely cleaned up the entire area when they were finished .I would use their services in the future.

I plan on using their services as long as the service remains as good as it is.

They notify me beforehand that they're coming on a particular day, they show up, do their work, drop off a flyer describing what they've done and that's it. They're always very professional and always really nice.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon from Angie's List for Savatree. I asked them to quote me on several jobs and ended up hiring them to do part of the work and to treat my lawn. The guys who cut the tree did an awesome job in tough (rainy) conditions, and I'm working with my arborist to develop a plan for my lawn.

They arrived as scheduled, the work took two days, and was done professionally with a good clean up afterward.

Ron, the arborist is very knowledgable and helpful. I think Sav-A-Tree is busy and it took a couple of weeks to have them do the job. I did not know the day they were coming but luckily I was here. Ron came to get the two workers instructions. They cut the limbs efficiently and hauled away the debris. It seems like a good job. I used an Angie's list deal otherwise this service would have cost $200 more, and I probably would have gotten more estimates than to try to pay less.

It went well. They were professional, did what I asked them to do and did a good job. My only complaint is that it took more than one trip to complete the job.

All went well. They even chipped and spread out the wood chips neatly under the playground (added bonus). They were timely, efficient and methodical. Would use them again.

The vendor responded promptly to my request for a quote. Ron visited the site within a few days to survey the trees on the lot and made quality recommendations for a scope of work that would meet my stated objectives. The pricing was in-line and reasonable with other quotes that I received. Upon my selection of the vendor, they promptly scheduled the service within the next week. Their crew was well equipped for the job and arrived at the scheduled time. They were very careful to trim in accordance with the quoted scope. They caused absolutely no damage to surrounding trees and structures and very carefully disposed of all the trimmings and debris. I was very pleased with the outcome and would absolutely use them again.

I like that they offer organic services. They are the only people that offer organic services in our area. The only issues I have with them sometimes are communication. Their rates are reasonable. They are prompt. I’m not sure I will use them after this year.

They cut down some trees, tied some trees, pulled out the vine from one my tree. The place looked wonderful. Also, they were very nice in letting me know what should or shouldn't be cut up or not. I did like that talk to me and identified some of the plants/trees and let me know what they advise.

I purchased a coupon from Angie’s List to reduce some of the cost. I think I paid about $700 on the job. I think their price is competitive. It would have been more expensive without the coupon; I would not have afforded it without the coupon. They know what they are doing as far as quality is concerned. I would use them again in the future.

They were great. My three year old summed it up by saying, "There doing teamwork." The manager was very professional and came out prior to the job starting. The team worked real well and when they were done cutting and chipping, out came the rakes and they cleaned up. We were very impressed and will use them again.

THEY WERE A VERY GOOD GROUP AND PROFESSIONAL. I'M NOT SURE IF THE TECHNIQUE WAS GOING TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THE INDIVIDUALS WERE GREAT. I'M NOT SURE IF THE TECHNIQUE WAS GOING TO DRAW IT TOGETHER. I WOULD HAVE DONE IT A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENTLY.
