Description of Work: All new hardwood floors in entire 850 square foot house, gutted and remodeled bathroom, built a closet in one of the bedrooms and installed new kitchen cabinets. Started on 10/9 and finished on 10/23/14. Worked from 8AM to 5PM with half hour for lunch Monday thru Friday. |Contractor stopped working and called whenever there was an issue that needed to be addressed that was not in orginal contract scope of work. Contractor was also available for any and all questions that I had. Felt extremely comfortable with this contractor and would highly recommend. Definitely would use again.

+ 5 moreThis was actually E&C's third project with us. The first was a deck around out new above-ground pool. The second was an addition including an added bedroom and office space on the top floor of our split-level. With these two projects E&C displayed professionalism and punctuality as well as craftsmanship and timely work, which made hiring them for our third and biggest project an easy decision. Although their estimate for the project was not the lowest, we found the price reasonable and we were familiar enough with their work to know they would do an excellent job. They worked closely with the interior designer we hired, and managed to overcome several challenges that a 30-year-old house can bring, including uneven floors and walls. Each week, Rich and his team showed up at the time they were supposed to be there and promptly began work. Not only do they perform excellent work but they thoroughly clean up after themselves. After all was said and done we had a beautiful new kitchen which added tremendous value to our house, hundreds more square feet of space, and a huge brand-new deck perfect for outdoor entertaining. We were and are more than satisfied with our choice of E&C!
Description of Work: We contracted E&C Construction to completely remodel the main floor level of our previous home. The work included: 1. Removing a wall to create an open-concept layout 2. A completely new kitchen including new cabinets,appliances and granite countertops as well as the addition of a 2nd (bar) sink. 3. Blowing out the back wall of the house and incorporating the existing outdoor deck area into new indoor space (kitchen) 4. New Flooring throughout the downstairs kitchen/living room area. 5. Creation of a new, bigger deck in the area adjacent to the original deck.

Description of Work: We had a poorly built deck replaced. Rich and his team built us a new deck that is solid and well built. We have used him for additional jobs over the years.
