John is solid. This is the second time I hired him. The guy bailed me out of another contractor that did an awful install (Cardinal) on a slider that caused my floors to be ruined. John was at my house 3 hours after I called him diagnosing the problem, measuring and providing me with an estimate. Cardinal failed to show up, didn't return phone calls and had numerous excuses for 2 weeks why they couldn't come by and see what an insurance agent, a flooring professional and John diagnosed.... No protective membrane and the flashing wasn't even attached to the House! John fixed it completely 2 days later! Solid guy!

John Mickelson gave us an education about replacement windows vs. new construction - he looked at the windows carefully, explaining that some of the windows which had been replaced with smaller size window and the hole for them had been 'built in' to accomodate the reduced window size. John used the original window size, taking the opening back to its' original size. i am very pleased with the outcome and although i did not realize the reduced window size, having the original window size makes a difference in the appearance and light. John came when he said he would, was professional, took the removed windows and other debris away and cleaned up 'neat as a pin'. it was a great experience and he and his helpers were polite and friendly - but not overly...we were pleased with the work and the price the windows work well and after almost a month there are no problems.

Mick is an excellent resource for any home repair job. He repaired my roof, installed new windows, fixed stairs, adjusted lighting fixtures so that they now work, and completed many smaller jobs.He is fast, efficient, dependable and fair. Most important, his work is the best! On a scale of 1-10, I would rate Mick 12+ He is that good.
