Lasky Remodeling

Description of Work: After my first remodeling contractor backed out of the job, Lasky was recommended to me by a friend. Ed came out on a Friday night and built a nice shower base for a shower in a basement bathroom. So after seeing his work I asked him if he would like the job of installing all of the plumbing in the new bathroom. Ed started the next day with a helper. They worked Saturday, Sunday and on Monday I told him that the job was taking to long and that the helper was not needed. Ed worked all day on Monday, and 4 hours on Tuesday to finish up. On Tuesday he said the job was completed. I went to check his work and asked if he charged the system and checked for leaks. He did not. So we did this. Of course there was several leaks. Ed fixed them as we found them. The next day Wednesday I went downstairs to work in the basement and noticed that 2 rooms were flooded. There was a leak behind the shower walls and Ed never checked that. I called Ed but of course he did not pick up. I shut the water off, ripped out the wet insulation and tore apart the shower to see the leak. It took 3 of us 4 hours to clean up the mess. I have fans running on the areas to help dry out the water damage. I may have to take and remove the sheetrock. I have a plumber coming in the am to address the issue and see what it will cost to fix this mess Ed has left behind.
