Our tile chimney liner was crumbling and we knew that it needed to be replaced. We had one company tell us that it was impossible to get a liner down our chimney and they were going to have to do extensive work costing $7,500 to fix our chimney. Thankfully, a friend recommended Top Notch and they came out and gave us a second opinion. They were able to get some tough obstructions out of the chimney and get the liner in, and in so doing, saved us approximately $5,000. They were prompt, honest, professional and tidy. I highly recommend their services.

This is our first year living in New England, so a chimney was a nice treat in our new home. The chimney hadn't been inspected or cleaned in probably 20 years, so we purchased an Angie's List deal for cleaning/inspection. There was some back-and-forth in getting a date scheduled to the service, but it didn't seem due to any negligence on part of the company - just a drawn out game of phone tag. They gave a three-hour window of when the service was to be performed, and ultimately came ten minutes past that window. However when they did come, they were very professional, clean, quick, and knowledgeable. They gave us a lot of recommendations, but there was no sales pressure which was refreshing. I hate being "up-sold", and would rather just know the condition and my options - which they gave us. In fact, they recommended some masonry work on the chimney, but reassured us that it wasn't an immediate safety concern and, due to the nature of the work, it would be in our best interest to wait until the spring when there is no more threat of frost. We had a good experience with this company and will likely call them back in the spring to do the repairs.

TopNotch inspected chimneys and cleaned chimney for fireplace. Advised that chimney for furnace needed work and provided estimate but was not too pushy about doing the work. I would use them again.

Very professional on time. Initially came to service fireplace and chimney, they noticed the flash on the fireplace needed repair and was causing water damage replaced the flash and at a good price. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to other customers.

They did the chimney. I had my chimney cleaned last year, towards the fall I believe. That's when they said the top looked like somebody had tried to re-cement it. Then they said you really shouldn't have that, it's falling apart. They could put a resin base on it that would seal it all up nicely. I also put on a stainless steel thing that they wanted me to put on. I was impressed. They were up there quickly. When they had done the chimney, they cleaned it, just the one guy came. He did that fairly quick and then they were in and out in a flash. Two of them spreading it out with their hands. They came, they did a good job, it looks good. I've got a piece of paper with a warranty.

Johnny and Mike arrived a little early (which was good for us) and immediately got to work. Mike was especially nice to my little boy, and I appreciated that he began by introducing himself, shaking my hand, and then explaining what exactly they would do to clean my chimney. They were fast, very clean, and offered honest advice about what needed done on the Furnace chimney to protect it from further decay due to the weather. I especially appreciated that they did not try to pressure me into a repair, but rather suggested that this is something I might want to look into in the future. If we do this repair, we will definitely use these guys in the future. I recommend them without reservation.
