My wife and I and another couple had agreed to purchase a multi-building property containing 1 small and 2 large residences. As an old farm, the property had a full range of issues -- roofing, structural, electrical, plumbing, retaining wall/landscaping, etc., etc. We hired Margaret to handle the inspection. It's was clear from the start that she has the expertise and skills to evaluate all these areas competently. She scheduled 2 full days to go through the property, which she did slowly and thoroughly. At least one of us was able to accompany her at all times, and she narrated her observations and thoughts as she went. She wrote up her findings for us in an extremely comprehensive report which included the results of research she did after the inspection, as well as her original findings. The report also listed a prioritized list of problems which need to be addressed, so we can make best use of our time and money as we go along. The four of us all agreed that Margaret is a very capable and professional inspector. Her charges to us were reasonable and worth every penny. We wouldn't hesitate to hire her again and we strongly recommend her to other people who are deciding whether to buy a home.

As a first time home buyer I had no idea what to expect. Margaret was fantastic. She was on the roof, in the attic, going out windows, etc...Margaret even found evidence that decades ago there was some sort of fire in the basement of the home I am buying. 1 day after the inspection I got a 64 page report with pictures of basically every part of the house. A couple days after that I got the radon numbers back. Margaret is the one to hire.

It was fantastic. She spent over 3 hours doing the inspection. She went through everything possible and produced a 65 page report including lots of helpful pictures and details and is available for any questions. Included tips on issues we may want to look into further. She even called to follow up with me after giving us the report. She has all the licensing she needed and great credentials. Backed by 20 years experience in the construction industry. She is the best inspector we have ever had. Most thorough and most willing to help. Gave a great amount of information in the report as well as in person. She will also give free phone consultations for as long as you own your home. Very focused, thorough, and diligent. Even offered to come back and look at roof later since there was snow on it at the time of inspection. I can't say enough good things.

She's very thorough. She did a 43 page report. Very detailed, including pictures. She spent at least 3 hours inspecting the house. I highly recommend her.
