+ 0 moreJohn gives very fair quotes for his work. His quality and professionalism are TOPS!. I love that he cleans up so great afterwards too.
Description of Work: We haven't used John Bartlett for anything since our last review, Nov. 2012, however, we just finished breaking in a new puppy and feel it's "safe" to have our walls and woodwork puttied and re-painted again. We immediatly thought of John and have hired him for this job.. . In the Spring, we will be hiring him again to replace and repair some cedar planks on our outside deck. He will also sand, and re-stain it. John does very good carpentry work when needed prior to a job. We will wrtie another review once this work is completed.

I take it for granted that a top painter will know a lot about paint, but it is much more difficult to find a painter who is equally qualified and experienced with staining wood. John brought his own high level knowledge base and skill set, but was also completely receptive to my input. This was important because I was attempting to replicate a style, color and aesthetic effect that I had used more than once before, which has resulted in a considerable experience and knowledge base of my own.John, Luis and Adamo were personable, efficient and meticulous. One or more was even willing to work on weekends to help move the job along more quickly. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: This was a large interior job that included the normal wall and ceiling paint, but also a substantial amount of staining and finishing of natural wood - honduras mahogany and fir. All windows, doors, base, and window and door jams and casings were stained - a process that involved a minimum of 4 applications and often more.
