Dennis was so great with our home inspection, we decided to use him to complete the work needed to be done. He was a pleasure to work with and the project actually ended up being less than quoted.

Dennis was hired by the home inspector I used for a home I have under contract in Ridgefield, CT. I was ten minutes late in getting to the inspection but by the time I got there, Dennis and his crew had already located and accessed the septic system and components and was ready to show me what he had discovered and provide recommendations on needed repairs. He was patient and professional in answering my questions without being patronizing (something that is frequently a problem with individuals in the home service trades when dealing with a female client). When he was finished it was impossible to determine that there had been so much digging (with the exception of a few mud clods here and there), particularly impressive in this case because one of the junction boxes he needed to access was directly below the stone walkway leading to the front door. I had his completed inspection report and an estimate for the needed repairs in my e-mail by that evening. I'm not sure at this point how the repairs will be handled, but if it becomes my choice I would not hesitate in contacting A-1 Septic for the needed work.

Dennis performed a thorough and very professional inspection of the old septic system at a home we plan to buy in Wilton. A major problem was found, and Dennis quickly explained the problem and solution to my husband and I in a manner that was easy for us to understand, despite our inexperience with septic systems. His thorough and well-organized report arrived the same day as the inspection so we could educate the sellers about the problem. Dennis also continued to review the sellers' subsequent repair plans and helped my husband and I understand if they would adequately solve the problem. Dennis was very accessible and pleasant to work with -- all calls and emails were returned promptly and we never felt that there was something he wouldn't be willing to answer or help us with. We would definitely use his services again for septic inspections or repairs.
