Electrician showed up on time. Was helpful explaining electrical system. He provided some helful tips. Definitely worth the $39 for piece of mind.

Highly recommend Adam Mahoney / 1st call electrical. Very fair prices. Solid work, flexible and timely. He was on time, focused and detailed about his work. He gave me great electrical advice regarding steps needed after my basement was flooded- and he gave the information in writing as well as verbal. He had the unexpected parts needed for my chandelier installation in his truck and he was extreamely fair about the price of those items.

Adam is always prompt and fair in price. He spends the time needed to get the job done right. He even came once on the weekend to fix our TV connection that we had distroyed. We are getting ready to remodle our masterbath and have asked Adam to do the electrical work.

I can not say enough good things about the experience we had with Adam. The last snowstorm we had in March did our electrical panel in. I noticed half the lights in the house were not working and went to check the breaker panel. All the breakers seemed to be fine so I flicked the main breaker off and it would not reset. I searched Angie's List for providers with 5 miles and called 1st Call Electric. Adam answered and I explained the issue. He was at my house within an hour. Adam diagnosed the issue as my main breaker. My electrical panel is over 45 years old so getting a new breaker for it was going to take a few days. I have been wanting to upgrade our electrical service for a few years and had gotten quotes in the past, so I asked Adam for a price. He gave me a price that was extremely reasonable and was willing to start the same day. He filed for all the necessary permits at the town and contacted CL&P. He had to cut a few holes in our wall and ceiling to run the new electrical service and had informed me of this prior to starting. Adam worked the first night prepping everything he could and helped me set up our generator to make sure we had electric for the night. I previously had a friend install an Interlock Generator System. He showed up the next morning right on time and proceeded to install our new electrical panel and service. Adam had our panel switched out and tied back in before he left for the night. We were astonished by how quickly and efficiently he was able to complete the job. The only downside was our Interlock Generator switch would not work with the new panel, but Adam even took care of that and ordered and installed what we need to have the generator working when we loose power again. He called and scheduled the electrical inspection and we passed with no issues. Once the inspection was complete Adam then proceeded to replace the sheetrock he had to cut out and even offered to compound. I have dealt with many contractors in my life but I can say without a doubt Adam is one of the best. He was meticulous with his work as well as clean, courteous, efficient, and prompt. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and made what could have been an extremely stressful situation seem totally routine and uneventful.

Adam is very reliable and looks to do the job that needs to be done is a quick, simple, appropriate, economical way. He provides good service at a fair price. He gets the work done quickly and actually helped us save money by giving us good advice about the alternatives available to us. We will use him any time we have electrical needs. We recommend him highly.

Despite Hurricane Sandy Adam arrived on time early Monday morning. He diagnosed the problem and replaced the breaker efficiently. He was polite and cordial and the work was done quickly at a fair price. I would recommend his services to other homeowners and would use him again in the future.
