+ -1 moreHe is great, and I recommend him enthusiastically. He gave us a recommendation plus choices, and did a superior job of explaining the necessary work. Trustworthy and professional, easy to reach, thorough clean up, etc (I appreciated the electronic invoicing system.) I even plugged the baby monitor in nearby and ran to the bus stop while my infant napped upstairs. We intend to hire him back for a kitchen renovation.
Description of Work: James Turner replaced the windows on our garage -- the original 1930s era windows were falling apart and the molding damaged by a raccoon. He assessed the job, ordered the supplies, and executed the work.

+ -1 moreThey took their time to make sure everything came out right. They were passionate about doing the job and very patient with me. They were very prompt. They made some suggestions as to what would be the best materials, which turned out terrific. If anyone is looking to save money, these guys are definitely the ones to go with because of their affordable rates. I am picky and not very trustworthy and these people won my trust whole heartedly and did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: They gutted the bathroom and remodeled it completely.

Description of Work: I wanted to create a pavilion-like structure to use as a garden work station/rest or napping area. The challenge was to find someone who is flexible enough to accommodate my somewhat artistic twist on the structure. Route 106 seemed to be the right choice for this adventure. Mr Turner, the carpenter and owner of Route 106, was the obvious choice. I had a rough sketch on paper and provided it to Mr. Turner. That was enough to get the ball rolling, so to speak. It's very rare to find a carpenter with a scientific mind. The quality of work done was superb. Talk about attention to detail... watching Mr. Turner work was like watching a scientist in a lab. The pavilion was constructed in a timely manner, with almost perfect estimation of needed materials. There wasn't material left over in the scrap pile. Overall, I had a very positive experience and even saved some money.
