I had an existing chain link fence which my dogs were breaching frequently. I was desperate to fix the problem quickly and called a no. of fence providers. Gannon responded the same day and did the work the next morning despite poor weather. Work was performed exactly as discussed and my dogs escape attempts have been thwarted! I can't say if the price was competitive, since I didn't get any other quotes. In this instance, immediate fixing was my priority and their response time was fabulous. Also a very nice guy to deal with!

My original fence was put in with Gannon Fence 22 years ago. That shows the work quality of the his company. The workers were on time and worked a very long and hot day on Thursday along side the owner, which says a lot about the personal touch of the company. The next morning, the workers reported bright and early to complete the job and leave my yard looking in great condition.

Tom Gannon was a very easy guy to work. He clearly explained our options and understood what we were looking for rather quickly, which is always helpful. His prices were competitive and I felt initially that he was a good businessman and someone who would do a good job and he proved me right. Tom and his crew did a nice job on our fence. He has a nice group of guys on his crew (that he works right along side with) who work hard for him and you can see the results in his work. I would recommend Gannon Rustic Fence any day.

Our overall experience was good, the quality of workmanship was really good. Gannon repaired and painted a 10 year old fence and made it look almost like new.....they really know what they are doing. The only criticism I would have is that it took a long time for them to do the work. (Two months after the storm) To be fair to Gannon, this delay was somewhat understandable due to the amount of storm damage in our town, the demand placed on the company for fence repair, and delay of getting the supplies for the job (i.e. fence posts were on backorder). Even with this delay, we still like them, would recommend them.

I had asked them to come quote to replace my fence which was damaged in a storm. We made a date, but he was running late so we re-scheduled. He arrived for the second meeting on time and we walked the job. He seemed interested and I was very impressed with his knowledge and demeanor. He promised to email me a quote the next day. That was over a week ago. I am sorry not to have gotten the bid because he was my first choice based on our meeting.

He was always friendly and very professional. He explained to the first fencers what they did wrong and helped me avoid a lawsuit. When things were expensive, he looked around for used fencing. His people were knowledgeable and polite. You would expect a service in New Canaan to be very expensive. He was more than reasonable.

HE WAS PROMPT. HE TOLD ME WHEN HE WAS GOING TO DO IT, AND HE DID IT. HIS MEN WORKED VERY WELL. THEY KNEW THEY WERE DOING. I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH IT. I HAVE HAD MANY COMMENTS ON IT.
