getting Vincent to come back to look at the crack in my steps and to fix it for free was a nightmare. He didn't respond to my first vim and I kept calling him and finally left a vim threatening to give him a bad review on Angie's list if he didn't call back. That seemed to work and he called me and apologized for not getting back to me sooner saying that he was swamped with work and he'd try to stop over the following week. He did not stop by or call so I waited 2 weeks and called him again and left vim. He strung me along like this for about 6 weeks never calling me to say when he was going to come by. I kept calling him and finally got him in person about 10 in the morning - I had woken him up he said. I told him how unhappy I was with his follow up service and pressed him for a date and time when he would come. He said he would put me down for the coming Saturday. I told him that was good and asked him what time he would be here. He asked me if 9am would work. I said that would be fine and we said goodbye reiterating the day/time. When Saturday came, Vincent did not show up at 9am. I waited till 930 and then I called to see where he was. Again, he said I woke him up and that he was really tired because he worked so hard. I reminded him that he had arranged earlier in the week to be at my house at 9am. He told me he'd be over later, he first had to get up and do a few other things first. When he finally arrived at my house about noon on saturday, he looked at the crack in the steps and immediately called the sub-contractor to ask him how it should be fixed. Vincent had the gall to ask me why I didn't call the sub-contractor in the first place. Since the job was done by his company I told him I expected him to take care of it. The subcontractor arranged to come by and came when he said and redid that entire section of stucco. I was very pleased with the sub contractor and his professionalism. Vincent, on the other hand, treated me very unprofessionally. I had to keep calling and calling. It was obvious to me that Vincent did not stand behind his work when there was no monetary incentive for him to fix the problem for free as he had said. in my opinion, Vincent is very unprofessional and I ould never hire him again. Nor would I recommend him to anyone else!!!

From the first time I reached out to Vince he was very responsive and helpful. He came out on short notice to give me a quote and was also able to get started on the work very quickly. It was very helpful that he works on the weekends as it can be difficult for people to take time off of work during the week. All of the work that Vince and his team did was high quality. One of the best parts about working with Vince is that he truly looks out for your best interest. My house is an older house, and there were a couple of unforeseen issues that were discovered after he began working. Vince informed me of the issues and worked with me to find the safest and most cost effective solutions to the issues. I am very pleased with the work Vince did for me and would recommend him. Not to mention, he was well below any other quotes I received!

Vincent is the guy you need if you want a beautiful walk. Vincent showed up when we called him did a wonderful job and was the low bidder. I'm an older person with knee problems Vincent sloped the walk to avoid steps for me. I'm very happy we chose Vincent my wife and I are very happy with the work he did.

Vincent came within a day or two to look at the job and make a quote. He understood what we wanted and explained what he would do. We accepted the offer and came back within a week as promised and did the work.

We are scheduled to have the work performed in 2 weeks. We will review again after completion.

The brick chimney of my 1928 cape had been painted decades ago and was peeling off in big chunks and taking the brick and mortar with it. Vincent's team cleaned the loose areas then applied a 3 layer stucco process over the painted brick. The end result looks terrific, blends with the period of the house, and I'm very pleased with it. I also had a concrete walkway that had sunk well below the grass level and created a river of water and ice whenever it rained or snowed. Vincent dug out the old walkway and installed a new one with paving stones that not only looks great, but has resolved the water and ice problem. I'm very happy with the professionalism and quality of the work.

My 6 step concrete form had eroded from years of weather, the use of low quality masonry paint which had trapped water at the surface and eroded into the mortar, and the use of a metal snow shovel for a few seasons. I called Vince in the afternoon, and he was out the same evening to take a look and discuss my options. We decided resurfacing was the best strategy, and after I had power washed much of the old paint from the horizontal surface, Vince's crew came out and resurfaced with concrete patch. The original application did not take to the surface well, as a commercial grade was needed. Vince came out a week later, and applied a heavy duty layer, and smoothed the surface. He recommended a top quality paint from a paint store, rather than the generic masonry paint from the local "big box". The steps were painted within a couple days and look tremendous. I'm sure with the application of a gentler plastic-bladed shovel to clear snow and ice going forward, the steps should remain in great condition for years to come. Vince also took a quick look around my property and offered helpful maintenance suggestions on my other masonry items, as well as providing examples of recent sidewalk replacement jobs with stylish tiles.

Vincent is enthusiastic and professional. He had the job visualized from the first visit. Crew was on time and diligent in their work. Vince oversaw each step and checked the work as it progressed. Results were better than expected. People keep telling us how good everything looks. We are very happy.

Vincent and his two man crew arrived on time. Started work earnestly and did so throughout the day. Vincent supervised and was on the job with his crew. We are totally happy with the outcome of our front entrance way and, chimney repair. With Vincent's suggestions of redesign, the project turned out beautifully. Vincent and his crew were very professional. Not only did they perform the chimney work to a level better than i could have expected, they also were honest about the work, told me things i had been previously told needed to be done were unnecessary. When I need additional masonry (we have a stone wall that needs to be rebuilt and our house is brick) Vincent Masonry is the only mason I will call!

Outstanding and quick work. Vincent was great to work with, he installed manufactured stone veneer on the exposed portions of the foundation. After I started the job myself and my wife told me it was taking too long I called Vincent and he came in and had it done in two days. He and his crew wasted no time, did it right and the results were amazing. Definitely added to our curb appeal which assisted us to sell our home. Will definitely call him if we need any masonry work at our new home. Thank you again!

I was very pleased with the quality of the work, and the judgment that was evident, based upon Vincent's 20-year experience, which strongly supported is material choices and means of correcting the flaws. With the work yesterday completed, and the terrace dried down, the appearance is precisely as was promised. During the second day, the stucco work was completed. The work area was cleaned at the conclusion of the work, and small areas that needed touch ups, were done. While Vincent and his crew were on the job, I was able to recommend him to a painting contractor, who was looking for a mason to include in his list of contractors whom the painter could recommend. So, I am happy to recommend Vincent.

He is very knowledgeable. He knows his job obviously. He gave me a good time on what would it take, how much would it take for the materials. I actually called him just to do the chimney but he pointed out the fact that the wall needed some work and he was more than willing to meet me to discuss about it.

Vincent had a two man crew come out and complete the work. The work went well and I was happy with the overall initial quality. Soon after, some significant cracks did form in the back steps where the repairs were done and I am worried the repairs will not last. I did talk to Vincent about it and he said that he would come out and take a look and fix the new cracks, but he has not made it out yet. I believe I would use Vincent again If this issue is taken care of. I will update my review based on what happens. Also, I do think I should have required a written quote before the work was done. I was originally OK with the verbal quote provided ($750), but I thought the job was going to be a bit more involved based on the discussion we had when Vincent came out to quote the work. Due to the level of deterioration on the back steps I thought they were going to have to complete the repairs in multiple phases which would have been more time consuming. Having a documented quote may have helped me understand better what they were actually going to do to complete the repairs.

Vinny is very energetic and anxious to get moving, which I saw as a positive sign. No time wasted. His employees were a bit more methodical, but very exacting in their efforts. The smoked on their breaks, but did it away from the house so the smoke wouldn't come in the open windows. I was very pleased with the quality of their work. My daughter bought a home in our same town, at about the time Vinny and his colleagues were working on our home. Her house needed chimney and masonry work right after the closing. She also used Vinny and was very happy with the outcome. We will definitely use Vinny again.

They were there when they said they were going to be there on the day that they said they were going to be there. They were great. My mom is eighty six years old; she needs her hot water and the heat.

They used a lot of the existing bricks and re-did the job the way it should have been done originally. I was able to leave my wife there and not be worried going out of state.

I would recommend Vincent Masonry as a very competent contractor. My work was done in a professional and timely manor and the end results were very satisfying to me and my family.

Great- Vincent and his team showed up by 9 and where done by 3:30. Everything looks perfect. His team was very friendly, Vincent was there the whole time and pointed out what they had done. it was so good I had to look close to see the changes, blended in wonderful to the mortar. Price was great, Service was great, People were friendly! I would definitely recommend!

My husband and I called Vincent to give us a quote for our small front porch and step project. A return phone call came nearly immediately and arrangements were made for him to come by to take a look that very evening. After speaking with Vincent and listening to his recommendations we were very confident that he was the person for whom we were looking for our project. The quoted costs were right in line with our expectations. Vincent and his "guys" did not disappoint. Work was done with expertise beyond my wildest imagination (and I have a good imagination). As a final note, I'll mention that both my husband and I had "ideas" about what we wanted and Vincent dissuaded us in part. He let us know that some of what we were proposing would be more costly and look good after being done, but in several years, he told us, we would "not be happy" with the work. This impressed us greatly. That degree of honesty and pride in workmanship made us feel that we had made an excellent choice in hiring Vincent. I would not hesitate in recommending Vincent Masonry, LLC (and I'm one picky lady)!

He did an excellent job. Vicent was very professional and i felt comfortable with him on my property when i was at work.

Perfect work. He rebuilt the pedestal leading to the front door. Recemented the blue stone and put stucco on the sides of the pedestal. Price was the lowest of three estimates I got. Work was completed the day of the estimate.
