Description of Work: I contacted this company after the reviews I read on this cite for a bathroom remodel and gut. Darryl came out and took measurements. After this time however, it was very difficult to get a hold of him. I had to prompt him several times to get something in writing for a proposal. He was not responsive and I had to contact him weekly until finally I just gave up on him. I'm not sure if he just didn't want to do the job, was overextended or what but he was not responsive. I really didn't feel comfortable with this as a reflection of the quality of his work. Overall the communication was very poor.

Description of Work: I received quotes from two different contractors. Darrell's quote was by far, the most reasonable. I had Darrell quote me on a completely new bathroom and some kitchen upgrades to floors and counters. He had some great ideas as to what to do with the old bathroom, which at his suggestion, we turned into a laundry room. So Darrell installed new venetian tile floor in kitchen area, hall and laundry room. He installed new sink and back splash in kitchen. Granite Counters were done by a stone cutter. Darrell installed floor molding in all of the rooms. He removed old fixtures and flooring and debris.Darrell took a small room that was once a bedroom and turned it into a beautiful bathroom. New floor tile, new tub surround, all tiled, and new sink and toilet. I picked out all of the tile and fixtures and colors myself. We had the use of the old bathroom during the project, up until the new bathroom was finished. Which was really convenient. Darrell could not start the job on the planned date, but I imagine that stuff like that happens, Issues come up on jobs, and at times they take longer, but you can't leave a person with a half done kitchen or bath. He was good about staying in contact with me and responded to all of my calls to him. I was flexible, and everything turned out OK. I am having him come back to do more work in our hallway to outside, new tile floor. Due to age and damage, the whole floor and sub floor need to be replaced. Darrell had some great money saving ideas that really helped and made a difference. He brought the project to the point where all I had to do was paint and wallpaper. Darrell stuck with his original quote to me, and there were no surprises.

Description of Work: installed new shower pan (floor), shower plumbing; sheet rocked and primed one wall and the ceiling, tiled shower area, tiled bathroom floor on diagonal, installed permanent seat and shelves in shower.

Description of Work: WHEN I PURCHASED MY HOME IT CAME WITH A BLACK, PINK, AND WHITE BATHROOM--OR AS WE LIKE TO CALL IT--THE "GOOD AND PLENTY BATHROOM". DARRELL NOT ONLY REPLACED THE TUB, BUT PUT IT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BATHROOM WHERE IT CREATED MORE SPACE. HE ALSO REPLACED THE TOILET, SINK, LIGHTS, VANITY, AND FLOOR AND WALL TILES. IT LOOKS FANTASTIC!!!!! NOW I WONT BE EMBARRASSED WHEN COMPANY WANTS TO USE THE RESTROOM.
