This job was for replacing an old cracked asphalt driveway with a gently sloped gravel driveway with additional drainage work around our garage. We were very pleased with Daveâ s attention to detail and professionalism.

Versatile Excavating recently repaired my long gravel driveway and did an excellent job. Dave Roberts explained what he would do and told me how much it would cost. Then he came when he said he would and was very cooperative with other contractors on the site. We agreed on the boundary lines for the driveway, he marked them and then followed them exactly!! Then he billed my for less than his estimate because it "didn't require as much materials" which I never would have known. I highly recommend Versatile Excavating Service which we found on Home Advisor.

As Dave is an owner/operator that does all of the work himself - the quality and volume of work that he performed was very impressive. We are very happy with the finished work and will definitely continue to do business moving forward.

How many contractors would actually tell you that youâ re coming in under budget on a line item? Very few Iâ m sure, but Dave did. I highly recommend him.

Dave was very easy to work with a did a great job on our excavation project. Watching him work you can tell he is experienced in operating heavy machinery. I will be using Dave again to topsoil and grade the yard he just cleared.

After meeting with Dave I knew immediately that I would have him do the excavation and grading for my new garden project. He had the same vision for the area that I had. The job took a little over a day to complete and was done to perfection. Top soil evenly spread with a york rake. All I needed to do was clean up around trees and seed. I couldn't be more happy.

Dave was very helpful throughout, offering many different options for driveway improvements. He started and finished the job just when he said he would. The work he did was gorgeous; clean and really perfectly executed. His asking price for the work was affordable and well worth the outcome. We would/will use Versatile Excavating Service, LLC again!

This was a multi-phase project to regrade our driveway and parking area and install necessary drainage throughout. The entire process was carefully planned with this contractor and professionally executed every step of the way. Expectations were consistently monitored by Dave personally to ensure that we were all communicating "on the same page" with a clear understanding of expectations, next steps and available options when presented with challenges. The project took longer than expected due to weather and our changes/upgrades - not due to anything within Dave's control. Obviously, this was a comprehensive undertaking, expensive, but you get what you pay for! We are loving our new driveway and was out in a major rain storm this weekend noting how effectively all the drainage is working!! Bravo ... on to Phase Three in the near future!

Good work. Good cleanup. Good ideas to make the project better. Responded well to my request for quote and my follow up questions. Did what he said he would do. Very satisfied with the final outcome.
