Description of Work: Took down three trees and did pruning on all the remaining trees in my yard. They were excellent. Did a terrific job.

Description of Work: Contacted several tree services. Went with Dunn's following a recommendation from a friend along with their price and professional follow through upon contacting them. Dunn's followed up to my phone call promptly along with coming to our house to provide an estimate. Upon signing with them and scheduling a day of service they arrived at the exact time. Watching them set up and do the work was watching a "well oiled (machine) team! I was amazed at the efficiency (and overall service) vs a previous tree service we had used. All trees (and parts) asked to be removed (or chipped) were done so and all the trees asked to be kept (for firewood) were taken/placed off the lawn. Upon completion at my house and great clean-up, I told my neighbor about it and Dunn's went right up to their house and took down a tree for them as well. We will be having more tree cut down next year and who will we be calling...not even a question.....Dunn's!!

+ -1 moreThe crew removed seven damaged arborvitae along our side patio and then they ground the stumps and removed the waste from our property. They did the job quickly and efficiently. We did not, however, find the crew to be as careful as we would have hoped. They would have mutilated the railroad ties surrounding the arborvitae bed when they ground the stumps if my husband had not said something. They should not have assumed we didn't care if they damaged the railroad ties - we wanted to keep the bed in tact for planting flowers. They did move the ties out of the way when my husband asked (did not replace them when finished). Also one of the crew just twisted and pulled off the damaged arborvitae branches along the back of the yard. My husband could have done that. We were looking for a clean cut with a chainsaw. They did the job we contracted them to do, but we felt the professionalism - the care and respect for our property was lacking.
Description of Work: Removed arborvitae along patio that had been damaged by blizzard. Also removed a couple of damaged arborvitae branches along back of yard.

Description of Work: We needed to have a very large damaged tree taken down in our yard. This was at the same time that everyone was having tree work done following Hurricane Irene. My husband made several calls to this company and left VM messages ~ none of his calls were ever returned.

+ -1 moreThe home I purchased in April was in dire need of tree removal. I called Dunn's for an estimate on removing 1 VERY large maple and 1 VERY dead pine that had been choked out by bittersweet vines for years and neglected. You couldn't even tell it was a pine originally and it was so badly covered in vines it looked like it had grown hair. The cost to cut, chip, and remove the big debris was in my opinion VERY reasonable. They arrived on time and were done under 2 hours. I am so glad I had this done since we had Hurricane Irene 3 months later. No doubt that pine would've fallen on my house or the neighbors' 20x20 shed.
Description of Work: Cut, chip, and remove 2 large trees from my yard.

I showed them a couple of areas we wanted them use care around and they marked these areas and made sure all workers knew about them.They proceeded to set up there equipment and removed the tree and limb. The chips and small limbs, that had broken off during shredding, were cleaned up and hauled away.
Description of Work: Cut down and removed a broken limb and a split tree. Limbs were chipped and the area around the work site was cleaned. Large pieces of the tree and limb were hauled away.
