They came when they said they would. They offered to come earlier, but we were not around to get that call. They were prompt, efficient, and did a good job. I asked them to clean the chimney and noticed that our previous cap had blown off during Hurricane Sandy. They ordered the cap for us and will be back to install it when it becomes available.

Paul did a great job explaining what I need. Ended having the furnace part of the chimney clean because the fireplace was okay.

Pauls chimney answered my inquiry promptly, provided an estimate and started finished. The work as stated. There were no hidden costs. He was neat and careful and worked safely.

They were very thorough and neat. I have a pretty steep roof and they went up on the roof and inspected the top of the chimney (first chimney company to do this for me) and took pictures to show me how it looked. They provided cleaning products that work great for cleaning the fireplace. They are priced slightly higher than some of their competitors but I have no complaints since they did a better and more thorough job. I would rather pay a little more for Paul's Chimney to do the work right as opposed to another company running a brush up the chimney once or twice from the inside and calling it done as had been done in the past.

Called on Monday morning and spoke to owner, Paul. He was polite and professional and advised that he could come by on Friday. He arrived on Friday as promised about 4:30 PM and looked at the chimney cap that had blown off during a recent storm. He advised it was in good condition and he could re-install it the next day. I suggested he take a look at the chimney to make sure it was not damaged and while it was getting dark, he did so. After, inspecting the chimney he advised that the chimney crown was deteriorating and that the old cap could not be installed until the crown was repaired and that would best be done in the spring. He could install a larger chimney cap that would fit around the outer edge of the chimney which was in better shape. He quoted a price for the new cap and a used cap if it was still in stock. I agreed to the quote and arrangements were made for the installation to be done the next day. The next afternoon he and his crew of two workers arrived and installed the used chimney cap as agreed. They installed the cap properly with concrete anchors and sleeves. A follow up inspection and repair of the chimney crown will be scheduled next spring after the weather warms. Paul seemed knowledgable and acted professionally throughout the entire transaction. I believe the work was performed well and as expected.

These two guys were great. They put down blankets and towels all over the floor and protected the furniture as well. They were respectful and talked to you in professional yet friendly way. They did a full inspection of the chimney and boiler system and knew exactly what they were doing. If you had questions they were only too happy to explain what they were doing and why. They gave that little extra care which is getting hard and harder to find these days. They gave an honest and straight-forward assessment of the chimney but didn't push additional services. They said I needed to fix the crown one day and inside the flue, it is starting to crack, but when I'm READY, they will be there and didn't push it. That made me happy. They provided plenty of information and fliers about chimneys and how to care for them and their bill was detailed and explained everything they did. They empower you with information and let you make the decisions. That's what I love about them.

Having called during the busy time of the year for chimney cleaning, I was given the first open appointment a few weeks away. However, I was promised a call if an earlier appointment became available, and it did. Much earlier. Two technicians arrived on time. They introduced themselves, provided a business card and literature, were friendly, professional and immediately took off their shoes to come have a look at the fire place. They completed the cleaning in about an hour and a half using sheets to cover everything in the immediate area. There was no smell or dust and the area was left pristine. Then Matthew explained the condition of the chimney and how much build-up they found. He recommended a multi-flue chimney cap to replace my two single-flue chimney caps that are bent and could be somewhat restrictive to draft... but it was not urgent. I asked for and received advice about perhaps getting an insert installed next year. The receipt/invoice I was given was very neat and completely described the work done, and condition of my chimney, flue, damper, firebox, chimney caps and next recommended (free) checkup. They also left a quart of Home and Hearth spray cleaner at no charge. I could not be happier with the experience from start to finish and will definitely become a repeat customer.

The two workers, arrived on time, inspected the chimney and oil burner system. We told them we would like the cleaning done, they explained the process and did the job. They made sure to leave the house as clean as when they got here, were very friendly and happy to answer questions.

They did this in a three step process. The crew was always the same, very professional, did everything in a timely fashion. After each stage was finished, I was able to speak to the owner about the process. They did a great job of communicating throughout the whole process. They were very neat and always cleaned up after the days work.

A gentleman came out to look at the job and provide us an estimate. We never received an estimate and therefore used another company that was more responsive.

He arrived as promised, laid down carpet covers, inserted the plug, cemented in place and cleaned up efficiently. I could not have expected more.

Paul and his helper were on time. They went into basement to look at work that was previous done. Apparently everything was put in backwards. The vents were extremely clogged. I knew there was a problem because my dryer would take 2 days to dry clothes. Paul suggested, we could just clean the vent or we could replace. We went with replacement. The job was quick and and beautifully done. They were neat and clean and very professional. We have had worked done before by them, they fixed our chimney and a cap was added. They also did an excellent job then. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Great job guys!! I can finally do laundry!!!!

Excellent experience. The technicians were professional, knowledgeable and clean. This is a small local business that pride's itself on referral business and customer service. Not only did they do a great job, they were pleasant and helpful and even killed wasp that had gotten into my house during the cleaning!

This is our fifth year with this man. He is extremely thorough, careful, and honest. He tells us what does not need to be done as well as what does. Nice to our dog, but very professional. Price is very fair.
