Description of Work: They were amazing. I wrote a long review at the time of service, but somehow it did not post online. To recap, we had two copper chimney caps and a fan put on our chimneys. We also had one chimney lined. They found that the chimney was not built properly upon lining it. They took apart the defective part of the chimney and corrected it. You could not even tell they did the work afterwards (i.e. it looked perfect). They also did not charge us extra, even though the job took a few days more (and required much more work) than estimated. They are as fair and honest as chimney companies come. I would highly recommend them, and do, whenever a friend asks for a good chimney company.

Description of Work: Our firebox was getting wet in heavy rainstorms. Paul of Paul's Chimney drove a considerable distance from Monroe to Wilton, CT for an inspection and recommended that we coat the entire chimney (which is over 50' in height)with a special water repellent. Paul's Chimney does not perform that service. They did not charge us for the inspection and recommendation and we eventually went ahead with another supplier who performed the services successfully. Paul was very generous with his time and his recommendation was 'right on the money!' Thanks Paul.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE VERY NICE, BUT LET'S JUST SAY I WASN'T CONFIDENT WHAT THEY WERE TELLING ME. WHAT THE REAL PROBLEM WAS, WAS THAT I WAS NOT CONFIDENT IN THE ESTIMATE OF THE WORK. THEY WERE OVERLY EXPENSIVE. THEY BASICALLY LEFT WHAT THEY HAD STARTED HALF DONE, BUT I WILL FINISH WITH THEM EVEN THOUGH I'M NOT HAPPY WITH THEM.
Description of Work: THEY JUST BASICALLY INSPECTED IT THE FIRST TIME. THE REST WAS TO FIX THE CEMENT ON THE TOP, PUTTING IN A LINER, CLEANING IT, AND PUTTING ON A NEW CAP.
