1 had expected the sealer to be sprayed on, but it was brushed on instead. This left my driveway many different shades of black and gray. Other than the cole differences I am very happy with the job that was done.

They were supposed to call me to arrange for the project to be done. I received the phone call within two days that he was at my house and already started the job. He then stated that it would need a third coat of seal coat which would be an additional $70 to our cost. I arrived home that evening and found that none of the cracks were sealed prior to coating which is part of the estimate of $130. He then scheduled to come out and fill the cracks. The cracks were filled. I then asked if you would be sealing over the cracks which is the proper procedure of sealing a driveway. He said he would but that was never done. He did leave me a bottle of the crack sealer. I've had my driveway done 5 times in the past. By far this was my worst experience.

They are honest people. They made some mistakes but owned up to them and fixed them. After all was finished the driveway looked good.

On the Spot Sealcoating did an excellent job for me their quote was in the middle of those companies I got quotes from. The owner kept in close touch with me through the entire process and made sure I was satisfied. When his crew first came up they were half way through when an unexpected thunderstorm came through washing away most of the sealing they had just put down. On the Spot was right back a few days later and applied a whole new seal. I was very satisfied with this company very professional.

Steve said he would be here to seal my drive at noon on Thursday and showed up actually 10 minutes early and went right to work. He worked alone and was courteous and professional. His fee was competitive. Materials would have cost me $75 – 100, so for the $200 total price I thought it was reasonable. The finished product looks very nice from the street, but up close, even after a week of curing in the hot sun, it shows many trowel lines. Before retirement I did my own sealcoating and never had lines when finished, so I don’t know what’s up with that? But, the true test will not be known for a few years, after the test of time proving how well it holds up to traffic and the weather.
