We scheduled a bath remodel estimate with Bath Planet and they cancelled without informing us because my spouse was not going to participate in the sales pitch. That just shows how tied they are to their hard sell tactics.
I'm not quite sure where to reply to your comment, but you are very much mistaken. I called on Monday and made an appointment for Wednesday at 2 PM. Then on Tuesday morning I called in error because I thought I was calling another company to schedule another estimate. However, as I started to ask for a time, your representative told me that I already had an appointment scheduled for Wednesday at 2 PM. I apologized and said goodbye. They had enough information then to know that I had previously informed you that my spouse was not going to be present for the presentation, even though she would be home. That didn't seem to be a problem when I made the appointment. Then I had an another call from Bath Planet on Tuesday afternoon that I missed and nobody left a message so I called back. It was then that I was informed that you canceled the appointment because I had told you that I didn't want my spouse there. Then I said goodbye and crossed you off my list. Get your facts straight next time.
Response from US Remodeling Group/dba Bath Planet of Connecticut
I'm sorry you have had an unpleasant experience with us but unfortunately this is not true. We first received a call from you at 11:38 in the morning when you spoke to our service representative and you said if your wife has to be there then forget it. You also called into our corporate number at 4:21 to cancel your appointment and spoke to another representative. We have this policy in place to keep our estimates free, we want to cover all the information in one stop. Estimates are good for a full year there is no "hard sell" here. Most people get 2-3 estimates before making a decision. We find it better for everyone if we could show you our product, go through the MANY colors, patterns, design selection and types of materials before doing a full rip out and conversion of a wet area. We would have loved the opportunity to turn your bath into your dream bath, have a great day!
Re: We wish you the best with the project we respectfully disagree. Have a great day.
