After having my gas furnace serviced, the technician advised me that the Emergency Shutoff Switch didn't work and I would need an electrician to correct it. After finding them on Angie's List, I contacted Peter Kaminski at Pace Electricians. Peter got back to me within the hour and offered to come out the following morning and provide an estimate. I was at work and he called me with the estimate after checking several other devices and isolating the issue. About a week later I called him to do the service. He was very flexible with his schedule so I would be sure to have someone to assist him when he arrived. During the work, he discovered that the issue was not the Switch but the wiring to the furnace. After speaking with me, he upgraded the wiring. Understandably, the cost was a bit more but I am completely satisfied with the quality of his work and his professionalism. The work was done in a reasonable span of time with no disruption to the electrical power to the home. I would use Pace again in a minute and would strongly recommend them to anyone needing high quality electrical work at a reasonable cost.

I have been looking for a good electrician for a while and I finally decided to go with Pace Electric because of their good reviews on Angie's List. Mr. Kiminski and his son Peter arrived right on time and as soon as they walked into the mud room they both put shoe coverings on over their shoes so that they would not track any dirt into my home once they entered it. Each time that one of them went outside to retrieve something from their truck, they removed their shoe coverings and then replaced them again once they returned to the mud room. I was very surprised and also very pleased because in the past, every previous electrician, painter, plumber or handyman that I hired had never done that before they entered my home. They immediately went right to work removing my old kitchen fan and then installing the new fan. Since my fan did not include a remote, Peter told me that if I wanted one in the future he would be able purchase a universal remote separately and then install it for me. After Peter installed the new GFI outlet, he showed me the correct way to test it and also told me that it should be tested at least twice a month. Later Peter called me over after he took off the wall plate to my kitchen outlet and he showed me a small, round hole in the back of the metal box which could have caused a fire if there was a spark or a short in the wiring. He told me that back in the 1970's those type of metal boxes with a hole in the back of it were commonly installed. He then showed me a small, round, metal plug he had with him which fit perfectly into the hole and would now prevent any possibility of a fire starting inside of the wall in the future if there was a short in the wiring. One of the wall outlets in my family room had a short that had been causing the power to go out repeatedly in that outlet and also in two other wall outlets in the same room. As soon as Mr. Kiminski removed the wall plate to that outlet he found that a portion of one of the wires inside of the metal box had melted and that was what had caused the short. As soon as he told me that, I instantly asked him if he could replace the two other wall outlets too since they were also installed in the 1970's as well and they were used much more heavily than the other outlet that had the short in it. Even though there were two large pieces of furniture in front of both of the outlets (with very heavy electronics on each one of them), Peter offered to move each piece of furniture out slightly enough so that he could squeeze into the tight space behind them to reach each outlet. I was very appreciative of that because I have a lower back injury and I am not able to move any heavy pieces of furniture even if I have help. So if you need any type of electrical work done in your home, I highly recommend Pace Electric. Mr. Kiminski and his son Peter are both dedicated professionals, offer a lot of great advice and they give only their best service to their customers. Plus, a big bonus is that they were very reasonably priced for all of the work that they did in my home. You will definitely be very satisfied with their expertise.

I called Pace and a message was left for owner to call me back. Peter called back very quickly and we schedule a walk through so he could see the project. The scope of the project chanced a bit after Peter had looked it over, he came back and adjusted his quote to reflect the work and we proceeded. They showed up on time and worked for a solid day, they ended up being a bit behind due to unseen issues and came back the next day to finish the project. They'll be back to finish the last 1/3 of project when my central air system is installed and I'll certainly use them again for any electrical work I have in the future.

Peter and Peter came on time. Did the work very good and was very professional. They even cleaned the area where they did the work. Very nice father and son company. I referred them to my co-worker this morning. I would use them over and over again. They even gave me a tip on how to label my electrical box in the basement. If you need an electrician these are your guys to use for all your electrical needs.

We remodeled our entire first floor (down to the studs) and Pete and his son did all the electrical work. To say we are happy with the work would be an understatement. They were extremely professional and friendly. The work they did was outstanding and they responsive to our needs and the changes we wanted to make as the project progressed. Their prices were very competitive and even if they cost a bit more I would choose them. I can't recommend them highly enough. They are actually coming back to install some sconces that we want to put into living room.

I had a week left to close on selling the house. All of a sudden I am informed the town never inspected to pool when it was installed 25 YEARS AGO. That left a open municipal document in the town and the bank won't close the loan for our buyers of our home. I called 3 electricians and explained my problem of failing the inspection because a bonding wire (or ground was not on the pump motor or in the right location). Only one electrical contractor called me back, that was Peter Kaminski the owner of PACE ELECTRIC SERVICE. He listened to my problem understood the pressure we were under due to the closing and came over the next day. They were on time, very friendly, professional, cleaned up after the job and to boot were reasonable in cost. Peter Kaminski senior and his son Peter are on my list of go contractors when you need real professional doing safe smart work.

Called Pace Electric on Friday 06/12/2014, and received a return call within the hour. Advised of my request to install a fan, and repair a smoke detector problem and an outside wire service. I was advised they could respond early next week, and would call me prior to responding. Received a follow-up call Tuesday, June 16, that they could come out the next day. On Tuesday a.m. received a call they were on the way.The installation of the fan, and resolution of the smoke detector problem, and the outside electrical wire update went very well. It was explained to me of all the work done, The work was done with care to the interior floors as the installer put on shoe covers as he entered the home. I have used Pace Electric several times over the past year and a half to install two bathroom fans, and to upgrade our kitchen electrical outlet service. We also contracted Pace Electric to install new electrical panel service to my daughter's condo. I am very pleased that with the response time once a request for service is called in,keeping the date of service agreed upon, and calling prior to arrival. A Contractor we have come to feel comfortable with in providing excellent service.

Peter and his son were on time and reasonably priced. They worked efficiently and left our house cleaner than when they started. They explained everything they did in a very understandable manner. Excellent!

I have used Peter several times for many different jobs and have been very satisfied. He also installed 3 wirelessly controlled ceiling fans for me.
